I was worried in the beginning,as to how this will work,especially with a brand new canon camera.But I saw the reviews and gave it a shot.(pun intended😊)It turns out it fits my M50MarkII perfectly,and I can effortlessly attach and detach it,without any problems. I will be able to say more once I used it for longer,but so far it does its job.Very happy.

Having bought a Canon M50 MkII camera with the kit lens and an added 28mm macro lens, this was a great way to utilise 2 twenty-five-year-old lenses that I have.I only gave one star for auto-focus due to the fact that it would only auto-focus at the widest aperture on my Sigma 70-300 lens. This could be a software fault down to a Canon?The one star for image stabilisation is down to the fact that it doesn't have this facility.I would still however recommend this unit if you have other older Canon lenses.Great build quality.

Used it to use my EF lenses on an M50. Everything worked as if they were native lenses.

As an enthusiast photographer, I was excited to try out the VILTROX EF-EOS M Lens Adapter to use my Canon EOS EF/EF-S lenses on my Canon EOS M Mount camera. However, my enthusiasm quickly turned to disappointment when I realized that the adapter's auto focus performance was far from satisfactory.First and foremost, the price of this adapter is quite high compared to other similar products on the market. I expected better performance for the premium I paid, but unfortunately, the auto focus function left much to be desired.The auto focus was slow and often struggled to accurately lock onto the subject, especially in low-light conditions or when capturing fast-moving subjects. This resulted in missed shots and frustrating moments during my photography sessions.Additionally, I noticed that the auto focus was prone to hunting and occasionally made a loud, distracting noise, which further affected my ability to capture candid moments smoothly.While I appreciate the convenience of being able to use my existing Canon EOS EF/EF-S lenses with my EOS M Mount camera, the disappointing auto focus performance significantly impacted my overall photography experience.Furthermore, the build quality of the adapter also raised some concerns. The construction felt flimsy and not as robust as I would have expected, considering the price I paid for this accessory.In conclusion, the VILTROX EF-EOS M Lens Adapter failed to meet my expectations in terms of both performance and value for money. The high price tag did not reflect the subpar auto focus performance, making it difficult for me to recommend this product to other photographers.If you are considering this adapter, be prepared for potential auto focus issues and consider exploring other options with better auto focus capabilities at a more reasonable price point. While the adapter did allow me to use my Canon EOS EF/EF-S lenses on my EOS M Mount camera, the overall experience was marred by its underwhelming performance and higher-than-justified cost. I hope VILTROX can address these concerns to improve the usability and value of their lens adapter in the future.

Great adapter, premium quality, fits canon m50 like a glove. Allows you to use any canon lens with your m50.

I use this on my M50, it works well and gains me extra lioght on subjects withour buying more expensivbe Lens.

Significantly cheaper than the Canon version and seems to work just as well.I use the Viltrox EF to EF-M adapter to use a Canon EF 70 to 300 mm IS II USM Lens on my EOS M50.It works flawlessly. No issues with auto focus and the camera correctly identifies the lens.Build quality is decent. There's very slight movement if you try to wiggle the lens but why would you ever do that?I'd definitely recommend it. A great, affordable way to open up the full world of Canon lenses to the EOS M50. Turns out its a decent camera that can punch above it's weight with the right lens.

I purchased a Canon M50 and was shocked that there isn't a larger lens selection. After looking online I found there are adapters out there that let you use any pre-existing Canon EF mount lenses on the M50 without changing the size too much.The Canon adapter was over £100 at the point I found this Viltrox Adapter for £38.90 with the tripod foot so the weight of the setup is taken off the mount on the camera itself.The autofocus on my EF lenses works as it should thanks to the connectors on the adapter that communicate with the camera and lens to ensure all features work as normal. This is a great addition to my kit for the M50 or the other EOS M cameras from Canon
