Novaform Gel Memory Foam 3 Inch Mattress Topper-Twin Size

Currently I live and work in Afghanistan and have done so for the past 3 years. This mattress topper has transformed my twin mattress into a slumber retreat allowing me to sleep comfortably through just about anything including rocket and mortar attacks. I wish I would have known about this product sooner. Fantastic!!! I can't lay on my bed without quickly falling asleep. It keeps cool in the hot summer and warm in the winter. I will buy this product again when it comes time to pack up and move to my next OCONUS position. The reason why I won't take it with me is because it is not possible to put it back into the box it came in and it is heavy. It is much cheaper and less frustrating to just buy a new one if you are permanently moving offsite. I highly recommend this product to all servicemen and contractors overseas with an APO address.

It took forever to get it despite the $40 I paid for expedited shipping. And it didn't weight even close to the 25 lbs I supposedly paid for. However the product itself is great and really helped my back ache.

This pad is just okay. When you sit or lie in one spot, you sink into the foam - however, if you want to turn over or re-position yourself, it's difficult. The pad holds your body divit for awhile until it fills with air so you need to shift yourself to the higher side of the pad, which is a balancing act as you tend to roll towards the divit in the foam. And I'm using it on a twin-size bed. Perhaps it would be more useful on a very firm top mattress.

This it’s a great product! My daughter put it on her dorm bed. It’s great because it doesn’t make feel sweaty. It’s the best bed topper you can ever buy! Great price too!

Good product, a little pricey

Very Pleased Comfortable. I did some research and this one seamed like the best for the price with cotton cover... received it and it did not smell, and it works great... very comfortable.. can't say enough good about it...

This 3" Novaform gel topper has been a great purchase, replacing an old standard memory foam 4" topper. The difference in heat retention is huge; the Novaform just doesn't get nearly as hot. While other reviewers elsewhere complained of lingering odors, I, who am extremely chemically sensitive, had no problems with it after letting it air for 2 days, more to follow instructions than out of necessity. But, if you are just looking for your first memory foam topper, do plan on letting it air out before you use it. It is not meant for immediate use.This topper was purchased at CostCo, where the sample did not show much promise of the memory characteristic. But the real thing is fine in that department.Another "cool" feature of the Novaform is the cover, which is 100% cotton and not only encases the memory foam; it has a skirt which then goes down around the mattress, helping to keep the topper from sliding off the bed.My only complaint is this: thickness. In my research, I learned that we sleep on the top 4" inches of whatever the surface is. Therefore, you will bottom out on a thinner topper, and feel that bed under there. So, we will have to follow up with a second purchase of a "1 or thicker "topper" which will become a "middler" between this topper and the mattress. Did you follow that?

My husband and I purchased a temperpedic mattress and my son loved it so much I decided to purchase this memory foam topper for his bed. He always complains about being cold at night so I thought even if it sleeps warm that would work for him. His room is the coldest in the house for some reason. . Well unfortunately after 3 nights and bitter cold temps outside he couldn't sleep cause he was too hot in his bed. He woke up in a sweat. I actually purchased this at Costco so was able to easily return it. Seemed great otherwise and was very comfortable if it was not so hot to sleep on.

Love this product. It is the second one I have slept upon and can't believe the comfort. It is perfect for my recently replaced hips.
