Works great; a bit tough to assemble
This is working really well with my Blue Snowball. I attached it to a side desk and it is robust enough to be extended and retracted multiple times a day.Upon arrival I was concerned because it was a total pain to assemble, bend correctly, and attach the pop filter. But once I got through that there were no further problems. I would recommend googling for photos and YouTube videos of other people assembling it. Once you get that out of the way it is sturdy and fun to use.

A "Good" but NOT "Great" Microphone Starter Kit.
The Dragonpad pop filter and the NEEWER microphone scissor suspension arm review:2 products that are great for the price, but are definitely flawed.First, let me start of by saying I use a Blue Snowball Ice. I love that microphone. However, the NEEWER microphone arm is not compatible, thus making my purchase wasted. Not on my watch. I do have the Snowball connected to the arm, but by undesirable means. I have to leave the original tripod-like stand on the Snowball, which the skinny tripod bit fits into the microphone holding clamp. So I have 2 stands in 1. It's inconvenient, adds unnecessary weight, and gets in my way when used like this.Second, I like the pop filter. It's pretty good quality, is just about as flexible as I need it to be, and has a decent clamp mount. But it's not perfect. To me, the "filter" or wind screen or whatever you call it, seems like black panty hose stretched over a plastic ring. Honestly. I think you could make the same product with panty hose from the dollar store and save money. It wouldn't look as nice, but I bet it would work nearly the same. Also, the clamp for the pop filter is like a hook. It's not flat like a table clamp, or round, but instead angular like a triangle. Take not of that when deciding where you want it to be. I have mine clamped as best as I could get it on the second scissor of the arm, the arm holding the microphone essentially. It works, but is again undesirable.Third, the clamp for the microphone arm itself is small. If you have even a slightly thick table, or are using a plastic foldable table like me, then find another arm or another place to clamp it at. I've looked and looked for a different clamp and no such thing exists, just crappy Chinese or replacement NEEWER ones that do not add extra clamp distance. I have mine clamped to my monitor arm, so the scissor arms go over the monitor and down to my mouth. It's unelegant to say the least. It doesn't stretch far off, makes creaking noises, and is a huge pain as it's always there in your way. I know, I need a better place to mount it, but the clamp they provide is so garbage it's hard to find places to clamp it.For the arm itself, it's metal and decently sturdy. Can hold the weight if you tighten the screws enough (which is a real pain I must say, and they feel cheap). It extends a decent distance, but if it had 3 scissors instead or 2, it would be a lot better to use and more functionality. Or if it the rotating joints were able to bend in all directions besides vertically, it would be great. What's my take on this product overall and my recommendation?Well, I like the 2 products and think they work good enough. They are high enough quality and cheap enough that I can't complain, but there are big flaws and is not by any means a great set up. It's a GOOD solution, but a great one it is not. It will work for those on a budget, but if you can spend more, you'll have a more better experience and product buying something else.TLDR : Great solution for those on a budget but can accept obvious flaws, but for double the price you can get much better.
