I didn't mean to buy composite toe!! I hate steel and composite with a passion, my feet are extremely angry at me after a long day on a truck. They do look very nice but no I have to get rid of em even though I just bought them. They are much much lighter than steel toe though, if your job requires something like this...these are a great alternative

I work in asphalt which is very tough on boots. These are the best I’ve found that hold up to the brutal temps.

Ok I going to give a review, When I first put the boot on I thought it was little large. I measured inside W and inside L, compared to my BATES the Wolverine is wider and is a true 11 inches inside. The tongue on the boot EW is a true EEE. I made adjustments to the boot, it fit fine. I it’s rare I find a boot that fits my EEE 11 feet, without the composite toe rubbing the side of my foot. I work electrical maintenance in a nuclear power plant. I am on my feet 12 hours a day walking, kneeling or climbing ladders most of the time have my toes bent inside the boot, and I don’t get numb. I been wearing the boot for two months. The break-in was a week without discomfort. My feet are not aching, sweaty, and callused over like other boots because of the EEE narrow composite toe cone. If this sounds like you, then I would say you will be very happy with this boot, I am going to order another pair for 2018. plus/EH rated is a requirement on my job. This boot is soft on concrete and the reflective stripe on the soul is an extra safety perk. they have treated my feet the BEST over all other top brands boots by far…. I get a lot of compliments from co-workers. I have more energy , feel better at night, and I polish them just for ha ha’s …..

These are light like a sneaker with leather that bends well with movement yet wears like bull Hyde. It's light because of the composite toe which feels like it offers full protection. I think it has good grip on surfaces and feels water resistant. Wouldn't call it waterproof but could easily add a sealer. The reflective side of sole is nice as I ride motorcycle to work often. I have the black and brown and they lasted 2 years of industrial construction before replacement and offered full support in the arch and I think it feels like it has a composite shank. The ones I replaced are still good if I need them. Only replaced because were dirty and didn't feel like cleaning them. I recommend these. Good price, fit and wear. I have a slightly wide foot for a 7 to 7 1/2 mens. Some brands start at size 8 men's and it's disappointing.

Good fit, last long

So I am the hardest at finding good boots to fit my wide feet. These at a 13 XXW fit my feet well with some extra room which caused my feet to slide back and forth. 12 1/2 xxw would of been better but was not offered. I added a GOOD quality memory foam work insole and now they are perfect. Took a day or two to break them in to be comfortable but it worked. I love that they reflect as I work on the railroad tracks and it makes me very easy to see. I also found them to be slip resistant and good for climbing ladders. If they offered a 12 1/2 Extra Extra wide they would of been perfect. Still need to try them in the winter months. But so far for summer and fall they have been great.

Just ordered two different pair of the same boot here. One black and one brown. BOTH are consistent in these ways. Stitching is designed for longevity. The fit is EXACTLY as described, I need a wide in my size and that's always a 50/50 chance. Leather is top notch and doubled up even on the inside of the lace strip. Tongue is shaped comfortably around the shoe and when pulled tight there is just enough room to kneel and bend without pinching. Just a great boot!! Worth the money which is above average. In this case...You'll get what you pay for!!! Best, Bruce N.
