Just what I needed to get a new air compressor check valve to fit
The check valve failed on my Central Pneumatic 29-gallon compressor. An exact replacement valve was impossible to find (3/4" male port into the tank, 1/2" male port from the pump, and 1/8" female port to the unloader). I found a common replacement check valve with a similar configuration, but different sized ports (1/2" male port to the tank, 3/8" male port from the pump), and this reducer worked perfectly to connect the pump side. I threaded on smoothly with no leaks and has held up under pressure, <150 PSI.

Fits perfectly on iron clawfoot tub showerhead pipe
Bought this to install on the showerhead pipe of our clawfoot bathtub, so we could install a modern showerhead. Fits perfectly with the exact threading needed. Showerhead installed without problems. Great value for a high quality piece of hardware. For those wondering how to measure your pipes versus the sizing listed for this item, measure the outer diameter of your pipe, and look up the NPT pipe size table to translate (hint: the actual size and the NPT size have almost NO relation).

Excellent 1/2 to1/4 bushing!
I bought this to replace the piece of junk "1/2 to1/4 Anderson Metals Brass Threaded Pipe Fitting" that I ordered a week ago for $5.68. What a drastic difference with this NIGO 1/2 to 1/4 bushing for $5.89!!! This NIGO bushing is high quality with every part of it beautifully machined and perfect threads. The brass has a hefty feel to it compared to that garbage Anderson fitting. So for an extra 21 cents you can go from junk to excellent quality with this NIGO bushing.
