OK, this tool is similar to the ones I used in the Philippines without the "horse" to attach it to. So I made one from 2 x 6's that I have laying around. Bit more sturdy than the ones they see at Asian stores, and I made it higher, 12 inches from the floor, vs the ones at the store that is made like 4 inches. Imagine getting up from that position after grating Coconut from the shell. I under measured the tongue where the blade sits so I had to bend the outer wings so that it does not cause any accidental cuts. Getting ready to make a cover for the blade because it is very sharp while in storage.

It would be better if this metal scraper is a bit longer say an inch, so that screw has enough distance from the blade to prevent coconut shell hitting the edges of the wood to which scraper are attached.

I been look this coconut scraper for long time, finally found it. The price little bit high but I guess it ok because you will get only this in Asian countries

I just received it. It took a while to get to Canada. It is a little short in my opinion. It would make it very good tool, if they could make this tool about 20-30 cm longer so that the coconut shell wouldn't hit the horse stand.
