I read the product spec and customer reviews. There were about 28 reviews... all of them were good except one. It was too good for the price. So I ordered and received it on time. Assembly was easy and in less than 30 minutes, I finished the assembly. So far so good. Then I saw a problem. The base frame was so light and it won't withstand the weight of umbrella! Luckily the base frame was strong enough to lay a few sand bags. You can each sandbag on each leg. Home Depot sells 50 Lb bags at around four dollar.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  I installed this umbrella fairly quickly. It was pretty easy to put up. The hardest part was bolting it down to the concrete. I agree with what most people have said in their reviews about the size. It is a very large umbrella at a reasonable price. I like how it cranks the umbrella up and down . I also like the fact that it comes with a cover to protect it when it is folded up. I put this umbrella up beside my gazebo. It will be great for lounging out in the sun. It will also be good for grilling out when it is raining. It is made up of sturdy materials . It was very windy when I put it up and it held firmly as it swayed back and forth in the breeze.

The cross base I got wasn’t symmetrical like the ones shown in the pictures. The umbrella wasn’t stable at all and isn’t very sturdy. I also did not get any cover or any hardware. The tilt angle on this umbrella isn’t great as well. I reported the item defective and wanted to return. The seller was prompt to refund the money and did not want the item back(cause return shipping was expensive). Overall I wouldn’t recommend this umbrella at all. It’s worth to spend a bit more money to get a nice cantilever umbrella.

We're still on the fence with this umbrella. We got it set up and realized it had a pin sized hole in the umbrella itself. We asked for a replacement, but they said they couldn't do that. They gave us $30 instead. Within the following week, it started not staying up the way it was. With the smallest, minut amount of wind it would spin around and hit whatever is in it's path. (Which is the brick house.) We aren't happy with it, but our time to send it back has passed.

This is a huge 10' patio umbrella and that's a great size for sun coverage! We had this product for few days now and so far, it works good. The installation was pretty easy and it came complete with parts and manual. This umbrella has a T-shape stand which requires a heavy sturdy base. It can't support the weight at all so you have to get a separate base, heavy rocks or sandbags. We used huge rocks as it covers the base and it's very sturdy. As for the umbrella itself, it's made of pretty thick fabric and with ribs that's good enough for light wind.

we bought this umbrella for out backyard, and it works great. also, it is wind proof! it was pretty windy for the past few days, but this umbrella survived! you do have to put something to make the umbrella more stable tho. we put two little sand bag on the base of the umbrella to make it more stable.

Umbrella is a nice addition to the patio. It's good quality, not excellent...but excellent costs 3x as much. I give it 5 stars in value.Also, it came with a broken part, and company rectified the situation immediately.

The plastic parts broke in a the lightest wind. I tossed it out. If those parts had been metal, or even a strong nylon plastic, then it would have been great.
