STAEDTLER MARS LUMOGRAPH PENCIL 2B - Box of 12

I bought a box of different lead grades. Settled on the 2B and bought this small box. Exactly as I expected .. very happy.

I use this product regularly but I had never purchased from this company. It was delivered promptly. No complaints.

These pencils have defined a new level of writing, truly superb indeed.

Lumographs are true quality pencils. They are expensive, however, after being disappointed by other brands, I stick wih the Staedtler brand.

The value for money is good. They cost the same retail as most places. My gripe is i received 4b instead of 2b. Either way still a great pencil to have as the cores are very thick.

I went back to drawing with pencils vs. my wacom cintiq tablet because I miss the freedom and detail you get when using paper. I'm old school like most Japanese anime companies. I love the 2B because it's easy to erase. I've had no problems with broken lead yet.

I use Staedler Mars Lumograph pencils a lot, but I usually buy them at Blick. These ones are lighter, harder, and feel more like HB or H than 2B. I even compared the lead thickness with my old Staedler 2B from Blick - the ones from Amazon actually have a thinner lead! Normally, Staedler pencils are great, but these particular ones are just weird, as if H pencils were mistakenly labeled 2B.

Drawing and sketching portraits

Staedtler products are always well made good quality items. Needed some soft pencils for general use as I find hb grade too hard and scratchy. These are really nice to write with and to do rough sketches. Downside is that they wear down faster but I don't mind that as they are really nice to use.

Very quick delivery and well packaged. I findLumograph 2B pencils about the best for drawing and sketching, enabling tonal values to be easily indicated.
