1980s Glamour (20th Century Pin-Ups)

I was initially intrigued by the title, I was a kid during the 80's, so I figured that I would get to relive some memories. Apparently my memory is horrible because I cannot remember ANY of the women in this book. Most of the women I personally think would look good after a six pack of beer, need I say more. So like any good friend I decided this will become someone "gift". I don't want to see it again.

This book has flashed me back to my youth and some of the first glamour pictures i ever saw. I will swear that some of the pictures i had seen back then, and this gave me some happy moments of reflection. Hot and sultry women, stockings, suspenders, clever studio set pieces. these photographs will either take you back to when these were the norm, or let you now how far the world has come in is willingness to allow freedom of expression, even in just the last 20-30 year. Nothing in this book is shocking or upsetting in fact if this does not give you cause to smile or reminisce then see you doctor because something is wrong.The man in your life will like this, especially if he remembers it the first time around.

The description implied more risque pictures than the 1970s glamour book and it's actually seems to be tamer, with less attractive models. I'd give it a 2.5 if I could. Debated a 2 or a 3 star. 3 stars might be generous.

80年代のピンナップ・ガールズ・コレクション。ヘアヌード写真集。 1970s Glamour (20th Century Pin-Ups) には劣る。いかにも80sな趣味の悪い変な髪形やケバケバしくて過剰な演出で不自然さが強く押し出されてしまっている。そんな不自然なケバケバしさに毒されていない比較的ナチュラルな雰囲気の心地好い写真もあるにはあります。P15キレイで可愛らしい大股開き、P16やP21のシンプルなトップレス、P90貴婦人のヘアヌード、P105美白オッパイ、P108自慢げなヘア見せ、P163美しい乳輪、P168パンツ、P191クールなねーちゃん、P195オトナっぽいおねえさん、P204とP254は異国情緒のお姫様、P214美しいスタイル、P280キャリアウーマン、P282とても綺麗な人、などなど。作品全体としてはオススメ出来ないのだけれど、中にはものすごーく美しい人もいるので、ちょっとあなどれない。良いって言っていいのか、良くないって言うべきなのか、どうにも迷う悩ましい作品。こうして80年代のケバケバしさに触れると50年代60年代のレトロ感が懐かしく思えるのが不思議。 1970s Glamour (20th Century Pin-Ups)
