Vet recommended for dog with pancreatitis. Expensive, but it seems to agree with him!
We've never bought our dog of 10 years cheap food, but when he was almost at Death's door following a severe bout of pancreatitis and an operation, the vet recommended we stick to this dry food exclusively. This food is lower in fat which is what our boy needs and if it keeps him healthy and with us a lot longer than he would otherwise then there isn't a limit on how much I'd pay, but I do feel that this is massively expensive and could be made cheaper without compromising on the quality and health benefits. That being said, our dog likes it and never leaves a drop, and it's helped him lose some weight as well which can only be a good thing.
