Red Glass Votive Candle Holders (Set of 12)

I ordered these (along with the amber ones) on a Monday for a party I was throwing the following Saturday. I didn't realize until after I ordered, though, that they weren't eligible for Amazon Prime and the estimated shipping date was the following Monday at the earliest! Yikes!! I wrote to Medusa immediately explaining my predicament and asking if I could have my order expedited (fully expecting the answer to be "no" or "we require more of a shipping fee"). Not only did Medusa agree to send my order to me sooner without charging me extra, I received my shipment THE NEXT DAY!!! How awesome is that?? It was one less thing I had to stress about for the party, and they looked lovely and festive for our celebration. Thanks Medusa!!

From the less than 5 star reviews I expected a serious flaw in at least 1 of the 12 votives but found none. They arrived in a firm container and none were damaged in transit. I visually inspected each one in a medium light and found no evidence of manufacturers errors. When I used one there were a few tiny spots where the glass wasn't entirely smooth. I wouldn't exactly make a big deal about the spots because unless you are looking for them you won't see them, they are that inconsequential. For 8 bucks and shipping you get 12 of these things so chances are you'll find enough perfect ones for your needs.

These seem to be nice and sturdy, but they are lighter and more see-through than I had anticipated. I use LED tea lights and you can totally see that they are fake through the glass. I've tried to return items to this company, but they charge you for return shipping unless the item is defective. The shipping costs more than the item itself so I'm stuck.

These came nicely packed in good condition. I have them scattered about with fake tealight candles inside, for a nice "mood". Some of the votives had a tiny bit of paint missing, but not enough to notice, or for me to want to return. Great price. I'd buy again.

Great value, fun to use. Ordered in both red and purple. Will be using for many years in both indoor and outdoor settings. Tea light candles in these votive holders combined with a few flowers create very inexpensive, festive table decorations.

There were clear spots on some of the votives that made them look cheap and unfinished. My only solution was to create a cover for the outside so the clear spots could not be seen. Since it would cost more to send the defective ones back I will just donate the defective ones to a local charity. I will be more careful about ordering items that come in bulk.

I love how the votives light up the room red and set a romantic mood.
