Both I and my 17- year- old daughter used this to cut down a weed tree growing against our house. It was fun to use and easy! I was surprised by how smooth the cut was as well. My daughter said it was a good arm work out but I didn't have it bother my arms at all. Recommended it already for my family members.

We got a notice for abatement from the fire department and had to clear tree branches from around our roof line. I went on the roof and, tied to a piece of string, threw this baby over the branch. My son (13 but small) moved it back and forth in a sawing pulling motion until it started to stick. It does this when the branch is starting to fall and gets harder to saw. I easily sawed the rest from a long handled pole. No chainsaw oil or noise, no electricity. Just simple tools and a bit of ingenuity. Decided to use this after watching chainsaw on ladders videos gone wrong! Glad I did - and I can easily take it with me to other places, too.

Unless you're elderly, or very weak, there are similar products with more teeth per chain that cut faster, yet require more force. I was not impressed with the cutting speed, and fail to understand why the maker chose such a limited number of cutting teeth.

Very good product. I've used it for trimming small to medium size limbs from trees - it cuts well and gives me a workout at the same time. No more chain jumping off the bar of the chain saw, and I can stash it in my pocket! I have ordered several for gifts. Thank you!

I'm not athletic. My best skill is sitting at a desk. This summer, out of shape, we headed into the woods. I used this chain saw to cut a pile of fire wood in less than ten minutes. Ya, ten minutes of a little exercise left me breathing hard. Nevertheless, this chain saw made the job quick and easy.

I ordered this for firewood while camping. I have uses it to cut a few small branches from trees in my yard but have not yet used it for bigger pieces when camping. It worked pretty well on smaller branches. I’m not sure how well it will do on bigger pieces, or how long it will stay sharp.

Got harrased for a review, haven't had a chance to test this out in the sticks, but I'll try.Out the box, I had only one complaint. The buckle on the lil pouch it came in didn't secure. Literally the first time I've ever seen, a plastic buckle designed to fail.... But I digress....Ultimately, I think I got what I paid for. Looking at the pieces, I'm fairly certain this will perform as I expect, saw through thin trees and deadwood. The material seems legit and I understand physics so it stands to reason it will function.Only downside, Amazon don't harrass me for a review two days after getting a piece of camping kit before I can take it out. How the heck can I evaluate a product if I literally just got it, you suck.

Ordered hand "chain saw" to cut up drops on the forest floor that made walking harder. It comes in a very durable case that can fit directly on your belt on the built in strap. Glad I ordered it.
