Died After Two Months
My Amazaon Echo (1st gen) wouldn't connect to the internet. After multiple attempts to reconnect, I called Amazon support. After several more attempts to reconnect, the Amazon representative concluded it the Echo needed to be replaced and credited my account with a 15% discount for a new device. However, later I recalled the representative had mentioned a faulty power supply (low voltage output) could cause the Echo not to connect to the internet. I took a chance and purchased this power cord replacement. I was delighted to find with the new power cord I was able to reconnect to the internet. A happy customer! HOWEVER! It’s been two months and the power supply just died. The green power on indicator light no longer comes on when plugged in to an outlet. I tried a couple of electrical outlets to be sure. Not a happy customer! ☹️

Exactly what I needed, was a good price and a perfect replacement for my old cord that was no longer working. the plug even has a little light that turns on when you plug it in that is very helpful at times, especially where i have it plugged in. Trust me my friends, this was a great buy at a great price.

Quality comes first with SMAY
I had received an echo show 1st generation as a gift. Unfortunately, the power adapter that came with it didn't fit. I wanted to find a good quality powercord so I could use my Echo. I definitely found it with this power cord from SMAY. This is a very well made product from a company that prides itself in quality.

Great Price - Works with Echo devices. But........
Great price, works fine. Replacement cord for Echo or Echo Plus. Probably $15 cheaper than the exact one the device came with from originally.Con - this one has a green led that is on. I could do with out the light, especially in dim rooms.

Does the job
This unit fit my 1st gen Show with no problems. I have been using it about a month with no problems. I would recommend this unit to anyone. Just maker sure that this is the correct unit for your use as the plugs very greatly. I have used this on a 1st gen show and a 1st gen echo.

It works
Sort of silly reviewing a replacement power cord, since it's really fairly binary: was it the right cord and working to deliver power to the device in question, or not? I can confirm, we did receive a power cord replacement for an Alexa device (the previous cable had started to fray), and it does work correctly.

Perfect replacement for the second generation echo power cord
Desperately needed my cord but amazon didn’t sell them for some reason. Most seem to sell for the echo dot or almost any other echo product, I think this may be the only replacement. Wish I didn’t have to see the light but not a massive issue. Recommended
