Precise and sharp shears with comfortable grips
These 8” Brussels Bonsai pruning shears are so much better than the rough and loose ones that came in a bonsai tool kit. The quality of the metal and design are great. Very sharp and the tapered end makes detailed trimming a breeze. The rubber covered grips are amazing. Allows for best control of the shears without slipping and gentle on hands versus bare metal. The only con is to make sure they are clean and dry after each use, as they will rust if left dirty and damp.

These shears don't pinch my fingers.
If you'll notice on the handle of these Bonsai pruning shears they do not touch when they are closed. I have a pair of expensive shears marked even with some Chinese lettering BUT every time I used them I would pinch my finger because the handles meet when they are closed. These shears from Brussel's cut very well. The price I feel these are very worth it. I have to add I've ordered two Bonsais from them a Ginkgo tree and a Chinese Elm both came through the mail beautifully and are healthy and well. I recommend Brussel's Bonsai highly.

great feel, very sharp, long blades. they live up to hype: 4 years strong
i bought some masters shears from another company that can't cut paper but these are great even if they cost twice what they did i would be impressed.edit: August 14, 2021: I have use these extensively as my pair that was always there and as a throw around, though even with scissors costing 5x as much I still use these. People complaining about rust dont understand its a carbon blade that needs a light vinegar bath and rubdown. Mine look just like new if I take the effort to clean the whole thing. I use sometimes for bonsai mostly for pruning cuttings from small trees and pruning leaves for cloning. These are just perfect for that, if I had $20 to buy one pair of scissors I wouldnt think twice about rebuying these. I've got brand new scissors from other great companies that got bent tips within a month because they hit the ground so hard. These are lighter weight but stand up to abuse and have a GREAT feel. These don't seem to show up so high on the search lists anymore but these are the right choice in this price range and above.

Inexpensive, quality product
I usually buy a couple bonsai style scissors a year for use in my greenhouse operation. I figured I would give these a try as they were 5 dollars cheaper than the comparable zenport scissors. Other than a more flexible finger guard and not quite as smooth a bite, they are the same. Both made in Korea. All in all I'd say these are a great value and I will be buying more.
