I have 2 male mice and this cage is plenty big enough for them to run around and play. Nice quality and a great price.

I already had a food dish, water bottle and another platform, so I only needed the cage. I needed a larger cage for my dwarf hamster that had LESS than 1/2” bar spacing and this cage fit the bill. The accessories are garbage, and it only came with one house, which is cheap and my hammy only used to poop in. So I didn’t use any of the accessories. Plus, her legs go right through the ramp and platform so I didn’t use them. If you use the platform be sure to use twist ties to secure it to the cage walls. The cage itself is pretty good although the roof top is hard to open and close and the front door is also hard to open. You have to be careful that the hamster is away from it so that you don’t squish it when closing the door. Be very careful with that. If they made a better door for this cage, it would be great. I also didn’t use the wire platform and put bedding directly on the plastic bottom, it works great. Another reason I wanted this particular cage is that it has vertical bars instead of horizontal. My hamster has a really bad habit of climbing and biting the side and roof bars, so with this cage, she has mostly stopped doing that, which is great. It was a real problem, she would bite for hours. I think this being a bigger cage than the one she had has helped the biting problem. The only drawback with vertical bars is it’s hard to install some accessories, you have to get creative. Overall I like this cage and it’s a good value for under $45.

We had a mole in our house. I waited to do anything about it. I didn't want to kill him, but we realized we couldn't let him run free either. I ordered this cage and some accessories. I caught him in a live trap. And now his is our permanent little visitor.When shopping for cages, the number one priority for me was the width of the bars. I had seen him disappear into holes I would have thought too small for him. He can squish himself pretty thin. This cage has 1/4" width between the bars. Perfect.When cleaning the cage. I don't have to remove him from it. The whole thing lifts out of the tray. I can replace the bedding, and by lifting the cage, I can brush waste that sticks to the bars.I only installed one house because I thought that was all he would need. He has chosen to live in the toilet paper rolls I leave downstairs and use his house as a "s**t" house. I must open the top of the cage for remove that for cleaning.We are slowly becoming friends. I think, for a wild creature who will never be really happy in a cage of any size, our visitor is acclimating to this new life.

Honestly I paid so much money for two day shipping and I had to wait 2 weeks or more for this cage, it came with no instructions so I improvised putting it together and it came kinda bent on top and I had to bend it back honestly I would just buy a different one if I knew nothing special about it my hamster doesn’t seem to like it very much kinda disappointed I waited so long for it to come and this is what I got.

When I was putting it together certain parts kept coming apart loose or falling off or just not staying hooked. About 7 zip ties later and the stains a ton more sturdy and has not had a single problem. The little buddies absolutely love it and I love the Locking sliding door and seperate houses. Some stuff took a minute to figure out how to get it hooked up because it doesn't come with any instructions so I had to refer to the picture on the Amazon ad page, but for the quality and price I have zero complaints.

The cage is not bad. It is a great size for a larger hamster at a good price. The wire is a little flimsy. Having wire as the second level is not great, we put cardboard underneath for the hamster's comfort on the upper deck. The wheel is useless for a larger hamster but that can be replaced.

Was a bit smaller then I planned but I got a tank topper and just went up with it. Otherwise, a very good deal

I'm recently a new hamster owner and was looking for a cage and you get what you pay for with this cage. The wires are weak and easily bend. It has no instructions on how to put it together. The accessories are cheap and we're immediately thrown away. My baby girl absolutely hates this cage. I only use it now a substitute for when i have to do her weekly cage cleaning. I wish I never bought this and should have gotten a 90-100 dollar cage instead.

We love this cage for our hamster. It's plenty big enough for him to explore and dig around in his bedding (we use care fresh, not wood shavings as it doesn't bother my allergies). Like a previous user mentioned, we don't use the bottom grate as it's not good for their feet. Also, hamsters do a lot of digging in their natural habitat and a wire bottom prevents them from this natural instinct to dig. It makes cleaning the cage much easier without dealing with the bottom grate.The only reason I gave it four stars is that the wheel is cheaply made and too small for a teddy bear hamster. Good wheels are easy enough to get though.Great cage for the price.

The actual cage was too small for the base, the cage bends, the side door sticks. Oh and he almost broke his leg on the ladder which moves around a ton. Lil guy seems to like it but it’s pretty flimsy.

Bottom rack unneccessary, more of a hassle then anything else. Houses are nice but roofs were hard to attach. Lots of room in the cage for your hamster and the colour is fun!

Still not big enough which makes me think we have a bigger hamster than normal but he does like it and it does the trick!
