first is its the real jeff we wore in Kensington back in the seventies and for the last 20 years or so have not been able to find that particular jeff no where. a lot of places said they had them but they didn't. it has to be 100 present wool, 8 piece lid as we use to say and 3rd its the exact color and blend WITH the few red dots scattered thru it. Most retailers thought it trivial but to someone who grew up wearing it, it most certainly is not trivial.. then whenever you got a new one you wore it in the rain as usual then went home and set it on a hot radiator to dry out, and it would get this ever so slight tilt to it so then it always fit just so..they now call it a pinky blinders jeff, if I were to name it it would be called a corner boys jeff. for that is truly what it was. you had to earn the privilege to wear one like that. exactly like that. you could wear something that might come close and nobody cared but to wear that one you had to sort of earn it. that is why as much as I like wearing a jeff, I could never wear anything else but that one. as soon as I seen it and tried it on, I ordered another I have it as a back up. thanks for bringing back some fond memories to this ol"man everyone calls "old school' steve i'm proud to say..

Bought one for my boyfriend, we both love the show and he wanted to be cool like the Shelby brothers lol. The material is good quality, sewn well, and true to size. Love the color i got him the green one. Ill probably buy another one in a different color.

I ordered all of the colors available, based on the reviews and feedback on the size. I was nervous about so large a purchase with a vendor I've never used before. My experience with hats is that they're inconsistent, they can vary greatly in size -- even more expensive hats, like Stetson. The hats are well made, the price is great and they're a perfect fit. One of the best clothing purchases I've ever made. Highly recommended. I buy a lot of BBC products, and you just can't beat the British for quality. The hats are made in China, but it's evident that this supplier places emphasis on quality control.

Samequality as many other Classic 8 Panel Wool Blend "Newsboy Snap"(made popular again by the tv show Peaky Blinders).Except that this one is 3 to 4 times more expensive !!And all you got for that is a label "Peaky Blinders" not a better quality.Very disappointed.

Originally bought this hat in the brown herringbone. Liked it so much, I bought a second, in the gray herringbone.Below, is my original review for my first hat:I have been looking for a hat like this for some time. I bought one years ago, but it was really too small and I have a really hard time finding hats that fit. I decided to take a chance on this hat and I am pleased to say that it fits perfectly! I used the sizing chart provided and from what I can tell, based on my one experience, is that the chart seems to be quite accurate. I love the color and herringbone pattern and am glad I purchased this hat. I thought it was a little pricey, based on some of the other hats I was looking at, but most of the other hats I was looking at stopped at one size too small for my big ol' head. It cost a little more, but appears to be well made and most importantly, it fits! I gave my old hat to my boy and he is thrilled as that one fits him perfectly!

The cap is not bad. For a wedding I ordered “Dark Brown Herringbone”. US stock, got here real fast, loved it. Ordered a regular “Brown” one for my son to match his suit and no US stock, an extra 17 bucks to get to the states in time. It turns up and it’s the same dark brown I have. Why have Brown and Dark Brown exactly the same. Dark brown was in US stock, I could have saved 17 bucks. They’re misleading. I don’t have time to send it back right now. Hats fine thought.

I like the hat a lot it fits perfectly and it says peaky blinders right on it, the only thing that sucked was it took a long time to get to me because its shipped from the UK. If you need it fast here in the U.S. better go with a faster shipping then standard.

I got this hat because I'm completely bald and standard flat-caps tend to be too shallow for my head and slowly pop off the top of my head. This one looked like it was deeper and would fit better. It is exactly as promised. The inside is quilted and warm, and the outside fits very well. It stays on, looks stylish, and does what a hat should --- keeps my head warm. The one criticism I have is that, since I don't have hair, the hatband is not very comfortable. It's scratchy and stiff, but no moreso than lots of other caps. If it had a microfiber band instead of woven nylon, it would be 100%. Points for matching the Peaky Blinders show costuming almost exactly, but even without the tie-in, it's a great looking hat.

I don't usually buy a hat for as much as £20 but this headwear is like wearing a crown. You'd be proud of it!100% wool and it keeps my head warm with style.The packaging needs an improvement, purely because it's a brand of Peaky Blinders. It makes a difference when you're opening a parcel.I have a head measurement of 60cm, an XL is perfect, a snug fit. The flat cap also has a button so you can interchange the style you want to wear.The beak is a little too big but it suits me, so this will definitely depend on you. Design wise, this is a modern 8 panel flat cap compared to the older versions where the beak would be a lot more shorter and it doesn't have a button.Overall, I'm very happy with the product and looking into purchasing more in different colours.

I have be an avid fan of Peaky Blinders since the first episode of series one. Series 2 surpassed my expectations and so I decided it was high time I needed a decent hat.After looking around for the right one for a while and having bought one that was disappointingly more of a flat cap, I finally found this one.It's a true paperboy/newsboy hat with accurate hang and fit (looks almost oversized and 'mushroom' like on the head). It is 100% wool and the charcoal one I purchased is a lovely shade of grey with a great black quilted lining.Ignore the reviews that complain the fit is too small etc; if you measure your head correctly, these fit perfectly.It is obvious that a company has just bought a generic cap and slapped a 'peaky blinders' label on it, but it was still nice taking it out of the packaging and it feeling official.I fully intend to buy another couple in varying colours and cannot recommend it enough.Don't **** with the Peaky Blinders.

Excellent quality, at a good price. This 57cm medium fits my medium head snugly, but is fine, so long as it doesn't shrink if it gets wet in the rain, which it hasn't yet. Since acquiring & wearing this item I haven't encountered any problems with the New York Mafia, but since wearing it to bed, at my wife's request, her sleep seems less sound than usual, she is obviously suffering from nightmares, shouting out, with attached expletives, sentences such as 'No Cillian you mustn't, no more' & the like. I don't understand why she insists that I keep wearing the hat, at night.

As the weather is picking up, and i do lots of walking as a way to keep fit, i need protection from the sun's rays to prevent heat stroke.There is three types of this condition and non are pleasant. This hat i bought as a way for doing this. But i think it's a better hat to keep the head warm rather than keep it cool. No problems, as just use it in the autumn and winter. Its very well made and it's better to have a bit too big than too small. The hat is very well made, and is extendable stud to cover the large head better, say if you have long hair, you could tuck it inside this hat. I say it's a unisex hat. The people i go walking with think it looks good on me and is attractive!

Cap looks great - supreme quality - fits so well and makes you feel really special from the moment it graces your head.Is that just my observation - I don't think so - went on my regular 5 mile walk the other day - people normally walk along withtheir heads pointing at their bootlaces - no time or inclination to talk - but wearing my Peaky Blinders - 14 people flashed me a smileand greeted me joyously ! - went to the races at the weekend - Tommy had instructed me to cast my eyes over potential Shelby horses-Arthur would then lead them away straight from the winners enclosure - probably keep one of them for one of those black eyed Russiangirls ! DELIGHTED , after buying others and being disappointed i found this one , lightning delivery , excellent quality for the price and fits to the size as advertised . MAKE SURE YOU MEASURE YOUR HEAD CORRECTLY AND YOU WILL HAVE NO PROBLEMS . THOSE THAT SAY ITS TOO BIG/TOO SMALL SHOULD TAKE THEIR TAPE MEASURES BACK . if your looking for an authentic looking cap from the tv series or that period this is the best ive come across.

I have several caps inspired by the 8-panel button top caps seen in a TV series. Two are by the Peaky Blinders brand, and I think they have got the look just about right. (I did not watch the TV show, but there are so many photographs of the actors' attire that the comparison can be quite fair.)HOWEVER... this cap hits the look bang on. I wanted a cap really faithful to the Peaky Blinders cult, and this is it. It's a very good cap by any standard well made in excellent cloth and neatly finished. I enjoy having it in my collection, and when the weather is somewhat cooler I shall enjoy wearing it. It's very comfortable and the size is as stated. Measure your head, or have someone give you a hand, and don't kid yourself that, for example, a satisfactory XL from one supplier indicates that an XL from another supplier will fit just as well. I have about 60 caps, all bought on the internet, and they all fit as stated. Mostly I need an XXL, but some caps fit me best in XL. Go figure... and, more importantly, if in doubt: go ask!

In answer to one or two questions and 'reviews' I would first say this is a quality product, right down to the quilted lining. For those who are concerned about such issues, the Peaky Blinder label is stitched, not glued inside as reported with earlier reviews. As regards the fit 'issue', all you need to do is take a measurement around the head at forehead level and choose the nearest size. (circumference divided by 3.142 = size). Do this and the fit will be perfect.

A great hat made from quality materials. If you like this style of hat then you can't go wrong. Size wise, I'd say it is ever so slightly bigger than expected, about 1cm or so. I'd put this down to the material been slightly thinner than the brown one I bought previous to this one. This is my second one and I love them both. I feel, now that I'm over 40, I'm past the baseball cap stage. These hats offer a stylish alternative without making you look like a grandpa, thanks to the Peaky Blinders.

UPDATEBlack Herringbone 57cm - fits, reasonably good sizing. Ordered size I needed, and fit is good; snug, but I would say its err's more on a UK size 7 than a 6 7/8ths. Reasonable wool construction 75-25% polyester ratio, which doesn't hold its shape any better than other offering which are thin 90% polyester. Cap feels a good weight. I would have liked it to be slightly fuller so it hung down further to the sides. The Herringbone pattern is quite subtle, would have liked a slightly stronger Herringbone pattern.Overall, adequate Newsboy cap. I will definitely not order other caps from Peaky Blinders just not on power with heavy woolen ones. Pity caps are made in China; nowhere Birmingham and Peaky Blinders turf. Come on company support British Made Goods. 🇬🇧

The cap fits perfectly well:) nice fabric and well lined. However, the stud which fastens the peak to the main body of the cap has broken. It is not the 'popper' type of stud, as on other caps I've owned/worn, it is/was a permanent stud This one, important but poor quality, component of the cap has ruined it. I suspect that others who have purchased similar will regret it sooner or later. I have given it one star because if the hassle it's caused. Peaky Blunders

Excellent hat - better in real life than the pictures even and, it is wool rather than the cheap materials several others offer.They didn’t have my colour in stock, so sent ‘the closest match’ with a handwritten note and a free lapel badge stating they didn’t want me to be without if I had an event and offering to cover the cost of return postage - exceptional customer service!
