The EVO LED provides a high quality, energy efficient light fixture that will shimmer through your aquarium at the flip of a switch. GREAT PRODUCT
This light puts out some excellent lighting for my 90 gallon fresh water aquarium. The fixture has 64 white lights that are rated at 3 watts each. 4 rows of 16 lights. I have been using this light for several months now without a single problem. It is basically two light units in one housing. There are two switches for turning the lights on and off. The 3 way switches are for off, on, and low. There are two ports on the opposite end for the timer module. You will need two modules for this one light. Like I said, it works like two separate lights in one housing. There's no denying the difference my aquarium plants are enjoying. they are growing like weeds now. Also with this near "sunlight" on the fish, more colors are brought out than I knew were there. Don't waste your time with "weak" 1 watt Marineland fixtures. I've used them and they are just "okay" now. This light fixture has over 3 times the output of the Marineland light. From what I understand this light is made in China, but the build is top quality. No burnt lights, no problems whatsoever. Highly recommended.

The specs for this item were super, so I ordered one that was 48 nches. I was excited when it arrived. It was a little heavy but it looked great. It has 64 LEDs, so I was anxious to see how it would light up my 110 gal tank. Unfortunately, only half of the lights worked. The ones that did work would flicker on and off. Basically, the WIRING CONNECTIONS FOR THE LED LIGHTS WERE DEFECTIVE AND VERY POOR. After the first week, only about 1/3rd of the lights would go on. I sent it back.

Very Bright...works great for my planted tank
I tried this light hoping to reduce the heat and the need to replace bulbs on a regular basis. The 3W LEDs work great with minimal heat. The light easily penetrates the water throughout my 24 inch deep tank (120g). The light is suspended approximately 6 inches above the tank and the light is very evenly dispersed. I would certainly recommend this light to anyone with an aquarium; planted or not.

LED light
It is decent. But runs very hot. Housing gets too hot to touch. Light is strong but dosen't have the right spectrum for all plants.

1 week, so far so good.
I purchased this a week ago for my 150g tall tank (48"-24"-30"). It is moderately planted and i am curious to see how well this light works for it. It is combined with the fixture that is the same but only 2 rows wide. with a grand total of over 1,200 lumens. The situation: This is a new tank and my first foray into planted tanks, i got a deep tank because i got a very good deal on this tank new ($350). That is the only reason i went with a 30" deep tank, it has an overflow and a wet/dry trickle filter (diy), about 900gph flow and is not quite fully stocked. I specifically wanted real plants and LED's but little did i know how difficult that would be without buying $400 pendant fixtures. After lighting by several different means, i found the "knockoffs" Beamswork & Green Element. So i tried a small fixture at first, much too small and the light did not make it to the bottom of my tank, but it worked well, was cheap, and i liked it. So on to bigger and better. I then bought Green Element EVO 48"-52" LED Aquarium Light Fixture - Plant 32x3W. To see how it would do, knowing full well that it would not be able to do the job by itself. It looked lovely and the light made it to the bottom of the tank, wonder of wonders. But it barely covered half of the 2' front to back of my tank, so i needed another...or 2. Which leads me to this light. I decided to double-up on this one because...well...plants. These 2 light illuminate my tank very well with the exception of the 2 back corners, unfortunately there are plants in those corners. Now im not looking for stellar growth rates, just not outright death. So 1 week in everything looks ok. (I will update if it all goes to slimy green melted crap)Pros: Looks great, no visible molding error like on the Green Element EVO 48"-52" LED Aquarium Light Fixture - Plant 32x3W. Can use proprietary timers if you like, although they dont dim so i dont see the need. Everythig works well, and if you are buying "knockoffs" then that is a huge plus. They have a wonderful shimmer if you have decent surface agitation.Cons: I expected them to match the Green Element EVO 48"-52" LED Aquarium Light Fixture - Plant 32x3W but they dont, close but not quite. Some noticeable difference in the color temperature of the LED's but only noticeable when looking directly at them from a distance, not noticeable in the tank. The Chord, from the fixture to the power brick is of adequate length, but from the brick to the ac plug is about 8 inches... very inconvenient to say the least. So how about it: Well, unless something horrible happens to the lights i am quite happy with them, if my plants all die i wont blame the lights for it, ill just add another, if the lights all die, i will get on amazon and order a Soap Box to prepare for my diatribe.
