Very poor product. Impossible to get out of packaging.
Very poor purchase, Impossible to get out of packaging. I got two packs as an offer, one which had not been opened, but I am unable to return due to return policy. Would not recommend this product.

Absolute rubbish - don't waste your money
Really difficult to remove from the plastic sheet because they're all attached to each other. Damaged at least two working out how to remove them. Then they get finger prints on them when you're removing them, so were damaged until I worked out I needed to wear disposable gloves. When positioned on the cake they just look like little blobs of clear gel. No discernable form or shape. I threw the rest in the bin and bought some hard sugar gems instead.

Sparkly cake decorations
They look great out of the mould but are difficult to display to effect on a cake. I used a cocktail stick and a sterilised sewing pin to remove them from the mould and manipulate them into position. I put some icing sugar to stop them sticking to my fingers. I made a small hole in the fondant icing and inserted the diamond in it. They need a large number to be displayed on the cake to be really effective. They have no taste to them that would distract from a cake's flavour.

Not great, but you can adapt them to suit.
Not easy to remove from packaging. I spent a considerable amount of time digging each one out. They are okay, not great against a light background like the marshmallow fondant I made, although I solved this by colouring them instead which in turn looked like gems on the cake. Not the diamond look I wanted but made it work

Easy to use and place........... if you use the right tools.
These were fantastic for my parent's 60th (diamond) wedding anniversary cakes. I wasn't sure about using them as some of the other users reviews said they were a nightmare to remove from the plastic tray they came in. I decided to try using a needle to remove them and another to nudge it into the right position. Worked like a charm. If you use a fine sewing needle and push it into the jelly, at about 45 degrees, and just under the the top of it then it should be able to be lifted out quite easily and placed. The way that the light from the camera flash caught the veins in the 'diamond' were superb. I would highly recommend them if this is the type of thing you're looking for to really bring you design to life.

Lovely little gems!!
These are lovely little gems ! Used on diamond anniversary cupcakes. Easy to remove from packaging using a pair of tweezers then place on top of cake. Would show up better on coloured buttercream. Would definitely buy these again.

Not great, hard to remove and use
I would buy double what you think you will need because these are very hard to remove and you will end up damaging half of them getting them out the moulds. They don’t just pop out and are well stuck into the moulds but using any tools cuts into the gelatine and ruins them. There isn’t much flavour other than sweet but they are so small that they don’t impact the taste of the icing/cake. Once out of the moulds they can be hard to get to stick to the icing too (I was using fondant icing). The ones that you can actually get out do look pretty but it took a long time, a lot of trial and error, a heap of patience and a large glass of wine to get them out and stuck onto the cake.

A Scribing tool is a must have!
I must say I was somewhat apprehensive in buying these jelly diamonds because of how negative the reviews were.As I’ve stated the cake decorating tool most cake makers wouldn’t be without is the Scribing tool. The little diamonds came straight out the mould effortlessly and stuck to the cake like a dream.
