Like another reviewer we had water splashing out beyond the shower area due to a major design flaw. We had it professionally installed in our new bathroom. The low metal trim the is on the lower track is too low to prevent water from splashing out under the sliding glass when the shower is used. It does not keep the water from splashing out of the shower area when fully closed. It looks great installed but totally misses the mark as far as keeping water inside the shower area. We’ve request a refund but have no idea how we are going to get the installed item shipped back to Amazon.

This unit is very well constructed. It is surprisingly sturdy and shiny, totally exceeded my expectation in terms of quality. However, there is ONE FATAL DESIGN FLAW that made me regret the purchase. The little trim piece on the side that suppose to prevent water from splashing out underneath the sliding glass is about the same height as the bottom of the glass, and therefore is mediocre at preventing water from getting out, as you can see in the pictures.

It's very beautiful, it decorates my bathroom immensely. I was aware of the flaw some reviewers described, so I study it carefully. There are two adjustable wheels that can change the glass height up to 1/10 inch, so I use lowest position. I also pay attention not to introduce any gap in the side posts. The overlap between bottom of glass and the rail is 1/5 inch in my bathroom. If it can be 2/5 then it's perfect. I plan to cut off 1/5 inch from posts but I don't have to. The manual should have a diagram for putting the inner glass to the upper rail.I wish the manufacturer notice my comment and make it better for other people. With that my review would be 5 stars

Purchased for a recent bathroom reno. Good quality and price but needs improvements. First, one of the glass panels arrived chipped during shipment. Dreamline customer service was super. Once I supplied a copy of the invoice and photo of the damage, they shipped a replacement right out. As for the design, the handles protrude several inches and limit available shower space creating a constant bumping hazard. This could be remedied by switching the handle position between both panels, but since the holes are pre-drilled, needs to happen at the factory. Tub edges are always rounded and are never 90 degree square. This facts causes the wall frame for the the shower doors to be slightly wider at the top than the bottom and not allowing the system to be perfectly square. As a result, the glass panels are not flush against the frame from bottom to top. If I would have realized this, I would have incorporated a work around before I drilled the holes in the tile for the frame. (the frame is flush against the tile at the top, but a gap grows as the frame gets closer to the tub.) The instructions should warn the installer of this and to plan accordingly, or, incorporate a solution into the design. I would be fully satisfied with the purchase and result if not for these two design flaws.

Bottom rail is not tall enough to keep water from getting out onto the floor. Would not buy again. Had to modify with an extra piece of aluminum.Also package was damaged on arrival had to order replacement part. Packaging is not sufficient.

I rarely write reviews but I am very happy with my purchase! I was worried about ordering on line but the experience had been great! The doors arrived on schedule and very well packaged. The driver deliver right to my door. The workmanship on these doors are spectacular. Clean and elegant. My handyman took about 2 hours to install so it was not bad. The price was less expensive than the local big box store. I recommend these doors to anyone who likes this style. They are beautiful!

This shower doors is pretty but the threshold at the bottom cannot prevent the water flashing out. I like this style since it easier to install than the other dreamline door which very much similar. The rails both sides will help you to drill the correct height. Anyway, I think DreamLine should work on its issue of the bottom threshold.

Beautiful shower doors. The glass is thick and strong. However I wish I would’ve bought a rain style or frosted one because mine which is clear leaves water marks after it dries. You have to wipe it down and dry it after every use if you want to keep it looking spotless.

I like the modern and cliche design. After installation, the glass sliding doors are so smooth yet so robust. They brighten the bathtub as well. One minor improvement is perhaps the lower metal plate mounted on the edge of the bathtub should be widened 1 inch higher to avoid splash of water! Otherwise, it is a good value for money purchase. Cheaper than Home Depot, Rona and Rowe's .........

Looks great but leaks like a sieve. Contacted Dreamline for help but none thus far.
