Just beyond impressed by that, especially given that these are very inexpensive socks. They told me that it was possibly a bad batch and I do have to say that I haven’t gotten any more holes since then.Original review:Socks look great but I literally have holes on each sock after wearing them for the very first time (see photo). Why can’t anyone make a dress sock that doesn’t get holes after one or two uses?

I wear a size 9 shoe (men's), and always purchase socks in the size 10-12 range due to inevitable shrinkage from the dryer. These have been laundered twice and now are a perfect fit. I think other reviewers who had holes at the toe pulled them on too far, stretching the socks (trimming your toe nails also helps extend sock life), or ordered too small a size. The heel of the sock will align with my actual heel if not pulled on too far, but even if it goes past my heel, it's not as bad as the customer photo, since the socks have shrunk a little.These socks are comfortable, and do not leave compression dents on my legs after wearing them all day. They also stay up fairly well considering they are not too tight, and sit about mid-calf on me. I like that they are made in Europe vs where everything else is made.

I bought a six-pack of these socks back in January 2019. They were very nice socks for the price to wear with jeans or dress pants. They were soft and fit well for the price and seemed to weather machine washing well. Since I wear these socks most days of the week, I bought another six-pack last June. Unfortunately, for the last 8 months I have had to throw away almost all of them. All but about three or four pair of them now have developed a large hole on the left ankle. Thus, as much as I may have like the fit and comfort of these socks, I will have to find another brand. If they developed random holes in different places that would be one thing but ALL of them developed the hole in the SAME spot. Apparently a manufacturing flaw. I can no longer recommend!

I like the sox a lot. The only reaason for the 4 star vs. a five is size. I wear a small shoe (7) and even your smallest pair of sox, the heel goes up my ankle. Or if I match the heel to my foot there is a bit of a bunch at the toe. Wish there was a smaller size available. Otherwise it is a very comfotable sock without being too heavy or thinAdditional. Since the frst part of this revies is about a month old I will add that Ilike the socks well enoogh to reordered. I guess I will just have to stretch my foot abit. lol

NOTE: On 2-10-20, I submitted my initial review of the socks. I can now expand on that review with the following:The socks are some of the most comfortable I own. After several wearings and washing, they fit even better, with a slight shrinkage that removed a minor looseness in the socks. They are an excellent buy, well-worth the price.........................................Review of 2-10-20The socks fit well, with no fabric build-up at the toe and enough elasticity to hold them in place, without excessive tightness around my calves. I especially like the size; I wear a 8 1/2 - 9 shoe, depending upon the cut; so these socks are perfectly sized for my feet. Too many socks are made for a wide range of sizes; Gold Toe, for example, has socks that cover at least 5 shoe sizes; they used to be a reliable standard, until I discovered Welovesocks. I have only recently begun to wear these socks; so I will update this review in a few weeks.

Wore these now for a while and they fit very well now. A bit tight initially but after a few washings they fit just about right now. Did not want too thick of a sock and these are just right. Seem to be holding up well so far too. Amazon immediately starts sending rating requests almost before one can open the box, so how can one submit an objective review without having tried the product out for a while? So this is after a couple of months and will buy again once these get worn down.

This European made product should be considered a dress sock as they are a tad on the thin side without being too thin, but NOT due to cheap design, but instead by style, i.e., made with a no 'cushioning' thickness material. They are also a good choice to wear whenever a pair of your shoes might be a bit tight for that same reason, so I can also use them with western or dress boots that fall into that category for me ( particularly helps when taking them off without a boot jack ). Price and color variety are excellent. The heel falls right ( I'm a U.S. 9 shoe size ); seem to stay up fairly well on a somewhat less than average size calf, coming up just under about 3/4 of the way on mine ( I'm 5'7" ). Not quite as breathable as I might like but not uncomfortably so. Can recommend these as I have purchased 3 different color sets.

Good quality socks at a reasonable price. The description mentions "crew" . I found these to be more like dress socks....thinner than what I wanted...so these will be more for dress-up occasions.
