GoECOlife GMW124P-BLK Limited Edition 12-Sheet High Security Microcut Paper Shredder, Black (GWM124P-BLK)

Extremely pleased with this shredder. Works perfectly and the white color makes it look very elegant.

First, I purchased this because description said 'Quiet' operation. It's not any quieter than my last cheap shredder. I am very disappointed with that fact. It does have a warmer tone, not as shrill.While I give the shredding power 5 stars, the frame is thin cheap plastic. I would expect aluminum, or heavy duty plastic, at least. The body has no handles or grips. After removing the shredder head, I picked the body up by its crossbar. The crossbar snapped. I was able to repair with Gorilla Tape but I do not like such a heavy motor being supported by such a weak frame. Wheels also feel iffy.On the up side, I used it for hours with no overheating and it did not interfere with TV, while last shredder shut TV off when blades ran. For a long period of shred work, you must let it pause (blades turn off) and wait a few seconds between feeding stacks. Generally, you'd need this time to prepare next stack of sheets.Non-stop chewing limit with no in-between pause is 5 minutes. My experience is the timer resets after each pause, but I can't guarantee that for all units.

I love the color! Heavy duty, the shredder was able to shred credit cards. The only con is if you have a lot to shredder the shredder will get hot after about 5 to 10 mins of shredding and stop for about 20 to 30 mins.

So far my goal with this shreder has been met. I have been shredding plastic bottles to then turn into filament for 3D printing. It has handled McDonald’s plastic cups and some basic water bottles once I break them into manageable parts for shredding.

It was smaller than I expected, but it does work. Eats through paper with no problem and microcuts it into almost nothing. Probably would be better if it was a little bigger, but it does work great.
