Treal Brass Inner Front Portal Drive Housing Compatible with TRX-4/TRX-6 Crawler RC Car (2) pcs -Black

My TRX4 has been great, but the Land Rover body can be mildly top heavy so I wanted weight down low. I had a limited budget so I decided to buy brass portal housings. I knew I wanted to keep a low profile so Treal was my best option for low price and come in the color black. Through the online forums Treal has a good reputation but online I saw they didn't have many reviews so I felt like I was taking a chance with them.Pros: Fitment is great. As an engineer I am happy with how easy they were to get assembled and there is less "sloop" in the tolerances compared to the factory plastic portal housings. All of the bearings pressed in easily and gear mesh inside the portals were exactly correct. All holes minus one had great threads (one was a tad bit shallow, more on that later) and with a little blue loc-tite I shouldn't have to worry about having any issues with these for a very long time.Cons: One hole was a tad short, the screw didn't screw in all the way. I contacted customer service, who responded very quickly and was able to solve the problem by send a shorter screw. They have made note of this and it shouldn't be an issue for next in line.Overall: I would buy more Treal parts, and will recommend to friends/family who are looking to upgrade their RC car/truck.

The product came very well packaged. The hardware that was supplied was actually pretty strong I was able to tighten it without stripping it! The steering knuckles themselves have fantastic coating on the brass! The new steering knuckles actually gave me increased steering radius which is also a huge bonus so over high quality and would recommend over its U.S. Competitors!

Lost a ton of steering angle. Never had an issue with any other treal product. I dremeled both sides down to recover come angle back. Other then that no issues

Looks and fits good on my TRX4 Sport.
