The Kelly Kettle aluminum Pot-Support allows you to cook small amounts of food (Rice, Oatmeal, Soup etc) over the chimney of your kettle, while your kettle boils. Fits all size Kelly Kettles. This Aluminum Pot Support lets you place the Kelly Cook Set on top of the Kettle as your water boils, thereby harnessing all the heat that is generated in the chimney and ensuring maximum fuel efficiency. Even in a Storm the Kettle works remarkably well - hence the Pot-Support allows for an element of cooking even in extremely harsh weather conditions. If more fuel is required as you cook/boil up, simply remove your pot/pan using the gripper handle (in all Kelly Kettle's cook sets) and feed additional fuel through the Pot Support. You don't need to remove the pot support from the chimney when refuelling. When you have finished cooking, allow time for the pot-support to cool. Then it can be disassembled, flat-packed and inserted up the chimney of the kettle for transport.

It works fine. There's really not much that can wrong with two pieces of intertlocking stainless steel. I'd suggest shopping around on Amazon and buying the one that costs one-third the price I paid.

Excellent design
Suitable for purpose or even carefully on their own. Takes up no space and weighs very little. Far better than my clumsy home made ones

Kelley Kettle Pot Stand - Useful within limits
The pot stand works within the limits of its design. The Kelly Kettle is tall and narrow relative to the size of its base. It sits atop the base with a loose fit and so is slightly unstable. The pot rest on top makes the whole arrangement more apt to tip if care isn't taken. While the arrangement works, it has distinct limits. Using anything larger than a small saucepan or pot on the pot rest isn't the best idea. It may be possible, but should only be undertaken with caution. However, if you were making a smaller serving of food using the pot rest will work fine. For larger meals, I'd recommend getting the larger stand for use with the fire base. However, the Kettle is excellent for heating water in a hurry. I bought the largest version and have found that it performs exactly as advertised. If you were in need of a fast way to sterilize water or rehydrate food, this is an excellent system. I plan to purchase the larger pot support for the firebase at some future time.

I did not know you could use the support as a base to keep the kettle off the grass. Now I will be using my kelly kettle a lot more. Thanks for the tip.

Better than expected - good and strong
Looks slightly different from the image in the listing, but actually is much more usable for that fact. Fits my Kelly Kettle perfectly. Nicely sturdy, and surprisingly heavy (stainless steel). Would highly recommend to anyone who already owns a Kelly Kettle and wants to be able to do more than heat water with it. :)
