My daughter is now a L7 USAG gymnast and I can no longer keep up with the terms of the latest moves she is learning. This book has them and describes them well enough for me to understand her when she gets a move and is thrilled or is struggling with a move. The diagrams help as she can point to them and show me where she is having an issue and even better, she can show me how she is able to overcome those roadblocks. My only complaint is that it does not have enought moves described/detailed.

It is a thin book (because of the small print) packed with facts and guiding knowledge. Comprehensive, from the Judging Codes of Points to individual skills; and practically technical, based only on objective analysis of the process (focused on the goals, without bias on one type of coaching). It is also appreciated that it evenly covers both men and women gymnastics.

My daughter found this very helpful. She compare what her coaches have to say to the book. She really did found it helpful.

It helped me coaching.I like that it helped me through my teaching from level 4 to 7,and sure it will help more for references.

bought this for my daughter who loves gymnastics, there is a lot of reading in it, it's more about parallel bars and rings than floor work but a good book

I would have loved it if the book explained more how to do the exercises, and spoke more of how one should place hands, feet and whole body for doing all the moves in gymnastics.

It's okay, although quite wordy. Was hoping for more images for my 10 year old Niece, but will probably be okay

Very good book. Good quality pages and photos. Plenty of photos of top gymnasts to illustrate different moves. Give information on how judges score the gymnasts. Very good book overall and would recommend.
