Our Wonderful Days: Tsurezure Biyori Vol. 1

This came up while I was browsing Amazon and it looked like a promising yuri title. I concur with earlier reviewers that it has a nice pace. I did want to point out something. While Koharu and Mafuyu are our nominal lead characters, the two friends of Koharu, Nana and Minori, certainly stand out. Indeed, they practically steal the show. The two are rooming together in an apartment, Minori being the responsible one and Nana the one who's enjoying the perks but not the duties of being away from her family. It will be interesting to see how our cast develops in the coming volumes.

This manga has a very slow build up, and mostly plays out like your standard slice of life. One thing that stood out to me were the panels with no dialogue. I actually quite liked the paneling in this manga more than others I've read, communicating how a character is feeling without actually saying anything. It makes it visually pleasing, even if you don't find the actual dialogue all that engaging. It makes me want a more dramatic work from Hamuro Kei, I think their visual language would be great in that genre.

This was so gay and I know there's other reviewers out here saying it's not "explicitly gay" but they don't have to kiss for it to be obviously gay. If you're a lesbian you will appreciate this one because it's very mild and subtle and gay and not obvious or aimed at the male gaze. I took off one star though because the first couple chapters were a bit too slow and it took a while to get into, and I also felt like some of the girls are drawn similarly and had a hard time telling them apart at times.

This is a great story so far, it feels very real, it doesn't move super fast, but it doesn't mover slow eather. The pacing has been really nice so far, the characters feel believable. I can't wait to read the next one.

Great book, pages are just falling out right out of the packaging...

(note to publisher at the moment on Kindle the page order is inverted - starts at right cover position as normal but the pages are in a left right order so I had to flip to the other end of the book to start which was confusing for a moment)Enjoyed this will be looking out for the sequel.

really cute!! lovely story!

From the cover i expected something bittersweet heavy into yuri but its actually pretty lighthearted and fun.It's not the most groundbreaking series but its funny and sweet with nice characters.
