Unless the child enjoys dressing up, it may not be for them. My grandson didn't care about it. However the quality and size of the capes were very good. I'm not sure he put on the masks. It appears to be good quality.

I purchased this for a 3 year old boy for his birthday. It was a huge hit! He didn’t want to take it off. His first choice was the Spider-Man set.There are 4 masks with matching capes. The cape connects in the front with Velcro. The mask has a front but the back is a simple elastic band. They fit a small 3 year old with the cape reaching slightly past his knees. The material is thin and lightweight.They are not super high quality material, but they are not very expensive either. We shall see how durable they are…I would definitely purchase them again.

These caps don’t last to long with little super boys that fly all the time. Ha ha

Bought it for my son's birthday. He loved it but it was small, it's definitely not for 9 years olds. My son is 4 and it's fitting him perfect. Maybe he can still wear them when he's 5 years old but definitely not for kids older than 5 years olds
