Amazing kindle layout ! Easy to read !! Color organizing
Giving 5 starts alone , on the fact that this is so kindle for my iPhone friendly !!! The different colors for gluten free ans a different color for the name of the recipe make a huge difference you can tell she put her time into making it look very good on kindle instead of the typical black background white writing ( which i know u can change the themes ) but with my all black background i really think it makes reading on kindle easier an i wish more authors who sell on kindle can make it as organized as Jen , kudos !!!

Good resource
I chose to read this book after receiving a free e-copy from the publisher. All opinions in this review are my own and completely unbiased.I’m always looking for a good weight loss diet that’s healthy. I keep hearing about the keto diet, I’ve read a couple of books about it, but I’m still not totally convinced that it’s a healthy diet, especially if a person “cheats” on occasion and ends up in and out of ketosis. So, this diet will be a discussion with my doctor when I go for a check up in a couple of weeks. If I decide to do the keto diet, this will definitely be a resource I will keep on hand. Not only does it have several recipes that I’ll try even if I don’t go on the diet, it explains what foods and tools are needed to be successful. It’s a diet that requires a commitment as well as a few foods that I’ve never purchased before. At the beginning of Keto in 30 Minutes, it explains the diet, the science behind it, and the right and wrong foods to eat and how to keep yourself in ketosis. Each recipe has the nutrition information needed and is marked Vegetarian, Nut Free, Gluten Free, Diary Free, and/or Paleo. At the end of the book, there is advice for eating out, a glossary, indexes, helpful apps, and a conversion chart. What else could you need?Keto in 30 Minutes is a good resource for the keto diet. The title is a little misleading because it would take some time and money to prepare to start the diet, but once you’re prepared, it should be less time-consuming.

Easy, fast, yummy, feel-good food.
This is my second Jen Fisch Keto book. She really does a great job. Her recipes are delicious, easy, and leave you feeling terrific. Will they really be done in 30 minutes? Yeah, I think the estimates are pretty reasonable. Be sure to scan the ingredients quickly before you begin for things like cooked chicken. I don’t usually have cooked chicken in my fridge, but as long as I get that going right away in a lidded pan in the background, it’s not a problem. The only potential negative is that there are barely any pictures, but they’re just not necessary – her instructions are clear. My thoughts and pics of the dishes we tried:1) Peanut-Chicken Soup – p 67. It’s really filling and flavorful. Well, one of my teenagers wanted extra, so I’ll do 1 ½ times the recipe next time. I didn’t have curry paste so I subbed in a tablespoon of curry powder. The peanut soups I normally make have sweet potatoes, carrots, and ginger. We enjoyed this variation on the less sweet side. We loved the coconut milk addition.2-3) Classic Roast Pork Tenderloin – p 93. This was a pretty normal pork tenderloin. The flavor was pretty mild, so I’d rub it down with garlic before sprinkling the seasoning on first next time. Nice and moist and tender.4-5) Cheesy Spinach Puffs – p 112. Fabulous! Great garlicky, cheesy, spinach flavor. The kids loved these.6) Mushrooms with Camembert – p 124. These are amazing! Hauntingly good! My kids took seconds on them immediately.7) Roasted Asparagus, Bacon & Egg Bake – p 54. Nice, easy breakfast. Love the asparagus addition.8) Beef Stroganoff – p 98 over sautéed zucchini noodles. This is really yummy. She doesn’t give salt and pepper measurements, so be sure to taste for seasoning.I’ll update this as I play in the book more! Some others I have flagged to try: Lemon-Cashew Smoothie – p 44 * Keto Pancakes – p 48 (with the raspberry and whipped cream variation, please!) * Egg Breakfast Muffins – p 53 * Broccoli Cheddar Soup – p 65 * Flank Steak Salad – p 71 * Bacon-Strawberry Spinach Salad – p 73 * Cauliflower Steaks with Bacon & Blue Cheese – p 81 * Portobello Mushroom Pizza – p 82 * Steak & Egg Bibimbap – p 99 * Keto Spinach and Artichoke Dip – p 109 * Sauteed Spinach with Garlic – p 120 * Roasted Veggies – p 125*I received a copy to explore and share my thoughts.

Cookbook
The book for review is “Keto in 30 minutes” edited by Jen Fisch. What do you know about Keto? It seems to be the rage lately with celebrities and every day people talking about how it has changed their lives.Part one has two sections. The first goes into what Keto is. One gets a nice summary of it. The second section you how to prepare or restructure your kitchen prior to going into the recipes. This includes cleaning out your pantry, going shopping, must have appliances just for starters.Part two of this book is when you get into the recipes. You get 100 of these. These ranges from bread, sauces, dressings and so forth which you will use as part of some of the recipes to come. And as other cookbooks do you go from breakfast, soup and salads, lunch and dinner, snacks, side dishes, and drinks and desserts.I also have wondered what was up with Keto. This book gave me some good information and amazing recipes to try out for myself. What I liked was at the end it had advice for going out to eat. The recipes are easy to follow and the pictures are beautifully done. This was a well laid out cookbook.I received this book for free from the Callisto Publishing Club but the opinions are my own.

Good for family Keto cooking
This is a good cookery book for Keto food for families. However, for singleton or couple meals, basic maths is needed for the vast majority of recipes. The recipes themselves vary for my taste and I shan’t use many of them. However, the basic recipes, such as dressings and sauces, are very useful.

Carb counts may be out
The carbohydrate calculations seem out. For example, Chocolate Cupcakes are listed as having 4g, but using the Carb Manager app I have calculated 2.12 per cupcake. The serving size is not always specified, either. If one is following a strict Keto diet, this all matters. Otherwise, the recipes look delicious.
