... TREE AND IT IS WELL MADE AND WORKED VERY EASILY. I THOUGHT A PIECE OF WOOD WOULD SUFFICE
HAVE ONE UNDER A TREE AND IT IS WELL MADE AND WORKED VERY EASILY. I THOUGHT A PIECE OF WOOD WOULD SUFFICE, BUT I WAS WRONG. I PUT THIS UNDER A NORTHWEST EVERGREEN LIMB. IT NEEDED SUPPORT AND HAS WORKED OUT PERFECT. THESE ADJUSTABLE SUPPORTS WORK OUT WELL AS THEY CAN BE ADJUSTED IN HEIGHT, AND THEY ARE ROTATABLE AT THE BASE, AND ONCE LOCKED-IN THEY SUPPORT THE LIMB, AND WILL WITHSTAND ALL ENVIRONMENTS.

So far so good, it works
I needed something to prop up my full of fruit orange tree as it was sagging so badly it was touching the ground. So far it seems built well (only had it for a week) but I have yet to give it a full season to see how it stands up to the Cali sun beating down on it as well as the windy season while it is supporting branch full or oranges. So far so good, it works, does what it is intended to do, and looks way better than using pvc or wood for the same task.

Wonderful limb support, and sways with any breeze while still supporting the tree.
We had a drought this year that left our pear tree weakened, but it still had a heavy load of fruit. Limbs just kept snapping off the tree. I bought this item in hopes of saving the tree and hopefully some of its fruit. This worked like a charm. No more limbs have broken off and this helped the tree survive one of the strongest summer wind storms we've had in history here. I'd highly recommend this item and plan to get a couple more!

Two Stars
After a few months, it broke.

almost but not quite
Great idea, well made, but way too short for my bowing plum tree branches. If an extension rod was available to add another three or four feet, then it would be the perfect product.

A Very Great Invention!
It saved my tree! The Giant Fuyu persimmons were so plentiful & so heavy that they were about to break one long very heavy branch of our tree. It is so easy to use after you figure out how to raise the inside tube to your desired height by pressing the round black lever & raising the green U shaped cuff up firmly under a branch. It is a great invention!

Protects and Saves Heavy Branches of Huge Old Magnolia Tree
This was just what I was looking for to prevent breakage to the branches of my old but gorgeous Magnolia tree. In the past, I've lost several branches to wind, ice and snow (winter of '13-14 was a real tree trimmer and not in a good way). This length adjustable limb support holds and protects heavy branches from snapping due to added weight from snow/ice and squirrel, cats and raccoons. Also I can now mow lawn under tree w/out stooping/bending over.

Too Short
It's well designed and would generally be OK for shorter fruit trees, but I have a tall plum tree that is loaded with fruit and these poles just won't extend far enough to support the branches where it's needed. I did as best I could, but the only places the poles could reach were the ends of the branches that flexed all over the place in the wind and the poles would fall down. After picking up the pole every day and trying to make the pole work, the heaviest loaded branch broke. If there was an extension available, I would have bought it, but it doesn't appear they make one.Edit: I believe I may have been too harsh in my first review. I did manage to prop the pole between the trunk and branch to prevent further damage until the fruit was ripe. However, selling an extension pole would be handy for taller trees. The base of the pole swivels which is nice it allows the wind to swing the branches to some degree, but there is nothing to hold the baseplate in place. An option to stake down the baseplate would be nice in some circumstances. If enough wind comes up to swing the branches more than 20-30 degrees, the baseplate tends to slip and the pole falls to the ground. It does reach the advertised height. That just isn't enough in some situations.Overall I still consider it a well designed product.
