Extremely comfortable for data center work
As a data center technician, I am often running around on concrete or standing for long periods of time, and spend at least 8 hours of my day on my feet. The ESD shoes provided by the employer immediately caused hip and knee issues, and after working in these shoes for several months, I really cannot recommend them more. I took five steps in them, and my hip popped right back into place and hasn't bothered me since. They hold and cradle your ankle to help support and reinforce an ergonomic stance while standing for long periods, and the insoles are very comfortable for both walking and standing. I am rough on my footwear and expect to have to replace these after 9-12 months, but that's related to my personal workflow and not the quality of the shoes (I use the composite toe to stop my cart more often than I should - they are still holding up remarkably well). I have not had any issues passing the ESD test even after several months of wear. Once again, literally cannot recommend these more for working long periods on concrete floors.

Great shoes!
I have had 2 pairs of Drivetrains before. Love them! Light, soft on feet. If you do a lot of walking on hard small sharp rocks you probably will feel them to much. I don鈥檛 mind at all but I鈥檓 not on them all the time. Soles do wear out faster than other shoes I鈥檝e had. You can鈥檛 even feel the composite toes, Timberlines are the only safety toes I can say that about. Redwing鈥檚 were good until they started making them in China :( These are made there too but made much better! One downside with this pair is that they didn鈥檛 put speed lacers on them, have to lace through holes all the way up. Bad design! Other than that, right out of the box I wore them 2 days, 16-18 hrs at least - no sore spots, great shoes!

Comfortable work boots
Very comfortable steel toes work boots. This is my second pair. Highly recommended I walk a lot at work.

**Updated
The first package I received must have been a pair that had been worn and then returned to a fulfillment center. Received the replacement pair, and these things are pretty sweet. Very comfortable, fit as expected, extremely light, and can get me through a 10 to 12 hour day working in a warehouse without my feet cramping up.These shoes meet OSHA safety standards, and that was something I was worried about because I couldn鈥檛 find any information about that on the sellers page or the Timberland website. The price tag is a bit higher than a lot of other steel/composite toe shoes, but it鈥檚 worth it to be comfortable all day at work.
