I can finally play tug with my 70 lb Pitbull!
My 70lb Pitbull loves to play tug but when she shakes the toy, it feels like she's going to rip my arms out of my socket. This has caused our tug sessions to be non existent as I live with chronic neck pain. Recently my girl has been suffering an injury and I'm unable to take her on her long walks as a result. This has caused me to find other means to tire her. While searching online from some interactive toys I came across the TugMutt Tugger. I was a little skeptical as it was $30 and didn't have many reviews. However the few reviews it did have were outstanding so I decided to give it a try. Best decision ever!No more sore hands, shoulders or forearms! No more accidental excitement bites to your hands when your pup accidentally misses the toy and grabs your hand! It's VERY WELL made! The foam grip makes it comfortable to hold especially knowing a great amount of pressure will be put on your hand. The pvc pipe makes it very durable and I can put any toy on it that has a loop if I don't want to use the rope that comes with it. It easily switches out by fastening and unfastening the Velcro strap. The Velcro strap that holds the toy is attached to a very durable thick bungee cord that is neither too stretchy or too taut. There is even an extra piece of pvc pipe that slides down to cover the Velcro to prevent your dog from grabbing onto that part and slides up on the frame so you can switch out toys.I can finally play tug with my girl and she can shake all she wants without me ever feeling the shock! My 70 year old mom even gave it a try and she can now play tug with my 70 lb girl as well!! If you own a dog, especially a powerful dog, who loves to play tug, the TugMutt Tugger will not disappoint!

A back saver
It can be a little unwieldy and if you’re not careful you might bop your dog with the plastic part, but it takes a ton of stress off my back. Being able to attach any toy is great. Also, the construction is excellent.

Caused Vet visit for lacerations!
Changed original review to this one. The bottom of the pvc is very sharp. When the dog bites at the rope it’s easy for said dog to hit their mouth on the razor sharp pvc bottom. 10 cent little rubber piece could have prevented a trip to the vet for stitches. Thanks for nothing!!!! Terrible design now that I look at it with fresh eyes.

Great Toy
My dog is obsessed with this toy! He’s a big boy (130 lb) and it’s held up really well. He loves to play tug or just walk me around the yard with it 😆 Easy to hold grip and very durable.

My dog's favorite toy
This toy is well made and sturdy. My golden retriever loved it right away. When we play tug sometimes my dog gets too excited and can accidentally scratch with her teeth. This toy completely eliminates this issue.

Poorly thought-out product
When your dog pulls on this product, and put pulls a bungee cord attached to the knotted rope out of a piece of plastic pipe. If for some reason the dog pulls the toy out of your hand the plastic pipe will hit him in the mouth and possibly knock out teeth. This is a very poorly thought-out product. Mine broke within 15 minutes.

Great customer service
Update-the company saw my review and was nice enough to send me 2 replacement Velcro straps.I don't know if my mutt is super strong or what but it stopped sticking almost right away again. We just tied the rope directly to the bungee so she could keep playing with it. So I give them 5 stars for their customer service. My dog loves this. The only reason I'm giving it 3 stars is the Velcro stopped sticking the second day so the toy falls off constantly. I even tried zip tying it on but it constantly slips out
