Twinlab Men's Ultra Daily Advanced Multi-Vitamin and Mineral Capsules, 144 Count

I have been using vitamins for a very long time, various products, from GNC-USANA. These vitamins have a great effect on me overall and I feel the benefits after a week of use, more energy and feel healthier overall. I have a sensitive stomach so I make sure I eat a meal before taking these vitamins. I take as recommended twice a day. As an added benefit for me, I have seen some positive results in my sex drive and stamina.

Easy to swallow! Great product value for the money, if you're looking for a daily multi-vitamin/multi-mineral. This formula is really potent. I only take two of the capsules every other day, and one capsule the alternate days, but I eat a balanced diet too. Just two of the capsules provides the equivalent of other big brand name multi formulas on the market, without having to swallow a horse pill.

I spent an inordinate amount of time comparing ingredients of different multivitamins before purchasing this product. I did not notice that the ingredient amounts for this product was not for one capsule, but four capsules. There should be a clear listing of ingredients on the page and not just blurry photos of the bottle.

Great vitamin!

It must be working, I'm still alive. I have been on a low carb diet for 3 months, lost 30 pounds. My diet is lacking in micro-nutrients. I rarely get Vitamin C in my diet and we all know what can happen without C. Scurvy arrrrrr. I would be very sick by now if I did not take a multi-vitamin every day.

Let me preface this review by saying, I've tried other vitamins such as the Alive multi Vitamin and even Blue Bonnet with Iron, and those multi vitamins really killed my stomach. I thought these would be better since I could take 1 tablet, and get a lower dose. The problem is, these also hurt my stomach, about 8 hours after taking them, my system feels incredibly awful, my face burns, my skin and eyes burn, and my digestive system feels "off" overall. I also feel a stomach cramp that lasts about 5 hours, and it it just a general cramp in the entire region of my stomach and digestive system, not really a specific part, it just feels like I swallowed something that is too intense, and too strong, and the body is partially rejecting it. I wish these were even smaller, and had an even lower dose. For what it's worth, I wish they would avoid putting all the herbs in these, because if they were just straight essential vitamins, as per Joe Wallach's advice, of having the essential vitamins (he doesn't recommend herbal plants as a daily regimen), I think these would be much better and easier on the stomach. I'm going to guess that part of the stomach pain with these is either because A.) My stomach doesn't like multi-vitamins B.) These have too many unnecessary herbal plants added. C.) One or more of the vitamins are not chemically digestible, due to their chemical formula?With that said, these are the best vitamins I've found, having the best ingredients list, having REAL vitamin E, from beta carotene instead of the toxic form of Vitamin A called Retinyl or Palmitate derived from animal liver (beware of other cheaper vitamins that have toxic animal derived Vitamin A which is known to cause brittle bones in high doses due to the blocking calcium absorption, also animal Vitamin A is known to be carcinogenic when applied topically to the skin in sunlight. The body can make it's own version of "animal Vitamin A" from the Beta Carotene version and this way you avoid getting too much of the animal version. Thank you to another Amazon reviewer who gave me this information, I'm just passing it along.These vitamins also have all the essential vitamins, which many vitamins do not. Plus they have Lycopene which is supposed to help the prostate in men, by protecting it from free radicals. I know Lycopene has shown many benefits.These vitamins appear to be really really good, but I'm not sure why they hurt my stomach. I've tried other vitamins and they all hurt my stomach, so don't take this review as a negative. I really think these are great vitamins when compared to 99% of the other vitamins I've looked at, and I've looked at about 60 or 70 of them now, very carefully.Give these a try!

I've been taking this vitamin for 5 years. It provides a good cross section of needed nutrients we do not often get in our daily diet and an especially good combination of ingredients for male health. Since they are "powder in a capsule" they dissolve easily. Four a day are recommended and that means better absorption .
