Brown’s Tropical Carnival Timothy Hay is an exceptional long strand fiber and roughage source for small animals. It’s a late-maturing bunch grass with relatively low protein, low calcium and high fiber. To promote the natural chewing behavior, Timothy Hay can be fed free choice to a variety of small animals including rabbits, guinea pigs, chinchillas and more! Our select hay is sourced from the U.S. Northwest, the provider of the worlds highest quality Timothy Hay. For optimum freshness, this premium hay is cut, cured, and harvested from weed-free fields. It’s compressed into large bails to maintain color and freshness and stored indoors until packaged. Our hay is harvested at the peak of maturity. This ensures a proper seed head and stem to leaf ratio, resulting in the softest, leafiest hay small animals prefer to eat! Real fruits and veggies are added including papaya, cranberries, flaked corn, flaked peas, and oat sprays to create a blend small animals crave!

Gineua pig loves it. I LOVE IT.
This is one of my favorite types of this carnival Timothy hay because it's long, thick. Fresh, and has alot of those pipe cleaner looking hay pieces in it that my ginuea pig loves most. And it doesn't have alot of that powdery grass at the bottom of thr bag. Overall my ginuea pig loooooves this kind of hay and I love the value.

Not best not worse
So the bag was huge but inside there was a little more shake or dust than I'd prefer. And it was throughout the entire bag, but the bunny didn't mind the hay and again there was alot of it.

He Won't Touch It
The ONLY reason I gave it one star is because my guinea pig hasn't eaten A SINGLE GRASS from this batch. I put it in, he looked at me crazy. I left it in for TWO DAYS and he still wouldn't touch it. I mixed it with another hay and he still wouldn't touch it. Gave him the other hay alone and he killed it. There is something about this hay that he doesn't like. I tried for a few weeks and then stopped trying.. He took the 10.00 Kroger bag over this one.. And, there's no point in getting it if the baby won't eat it Lolol

Nothing like the picture
Nothing like the picture. I bought it because it boasts that it is leafy and has plenty of heads, which my piggies love. My bag hardly has any heads.
