Amazon EssentialsMen's 9" Quick-Dry Swim Trunk

I ordered these in a hurry since I have a trip to the Bahamas in just a few days, but with my luck these shorts ended up being way too small! Shame on me for listening to the Amazon size chart. I wouldn't be surprised in Amazon used Vine reviewers or free items to get reviews on this product. I'm not sure if I got a used and returned product from someone who had laundered it several times on really high heat. The size tag does say Large, but I'm suspecting it could be the case since it came in a bag that said "Navy Large" even if I ordered a "Charcoal Large". For reference, I wear a size 36 slim pants for Banana Republic/J-Crew shorts with some room to breathe in the waist. These things weren't even listed as slim swim shorts but they couldn't even fit past my thighs! I measured the waist all around laying flat and it's exactly 34 inches, off by 4 inches on the waist size advertised by Amazon. I don't have Zangief-sized thighs, but you'd literally have to have chicken legs and maybe a size 32/33 waist just to fit in this thing. Honestly disappointed and such a waste of my time to have to return these. Get your act together Amazon!

I've even looking for a bathing suit that has a few specific features, this one does them all!First off, I like the idea of having a bathing suit that looks like shorts so if I leave the beach I can walk around and it just looks like shorts.Another thing is that something is netting, however, with this bathing suit it has very fine soft netting so that it doesn't upset the family jewels.It dries super quick which I love, even on a cloudy day it dried out in a very quick amount of time from when I left the water.Lastly, and I CANNOT stress this enough, it doesn't stick to you when wet. Nothing more awkward that walking out of a pool, lake or the ocean and all your "junk" is on display because the bathing suit has conformed to your body and is stuck to you.This bathing suit is perfect and if they had a version without netting of use it as daily shorts, might just buy another pair to cut out the netting.

Purchased these in multiple colors for my boyfriend for a cruise to the Bahamas and the description was extremely accurate dried extremely quick he kept them on most of the day

Ok I bought this in a medium and a large because I am 5'9" and a 36" waist. The large fits well in the waist but is a little long in the leg. The medium fits snug in the waist but has better length in the legs. It is a good enough all around swimsuit that I kept both.

Bought these for an upcoming vacation. These fit a bit tight with the inner lining. Its 100% polyester so its soft to the touch. The waist really has no more stretch to it than the waist size you get, so if you want some more stretch, I would go a size up. The short cuts off a few inches above the knee and doesnt have a baggy look. I would recommend it for the price.

Way way too small. I wear a size large in all sweat pants and trunks. Size 38 waist. This large couldn’t even get over my quads. It’s either a misprinted size or you need to order two sizes bigger than usual depending on how tight you wear shorts.

I’ve worn them a few times now and they’re comfortable and launder well. The style is great since they don’t look poofy in the legs and they have 2 regular pockets and 1 back pocket. Like I mentioned above I’m a 31” east and small fits well. Overall a great value!

I didn’t know which size to get so I ordered medium and large in two different colors. I’m 6’1”, 190lbs, and wear a waist 33 in jeans. The medium fit perfectly. Keep in mind that these aren’t supposed to be long, baggy, and poofy looking. The length stops at a couple inches above the center of my knee and there’s enough room in the legs for me to still move around comfortably.Thanks to amazon’s hassle free return policy, I’ve already sent back the two larges I ordered, and already ordered another pair in black.

For the money these are really nice swimming trunks.They come with an elasticated waist, plus a drawstring for extra security.Fit wise, I'm currently around a 37inch waist and the large size that I bought is a very good fit.The legs are roomy without being baggy.They are nicely made with all seams being well sewn.They have an internal mesh 'pant' to make sure all is decent.There is a useful pocket on each side, but the pocket lining is made of the internal mesh, so anything sharp could possibly damage it. There is also a pocket on the back. This has a velcro closer and the lining is made from the actual shorts material. So, much more hard wearing.Length wise they are great. I'm 5ft 8, and they sit just above my knee when I'm stood up.I'm not sure what the material is, but it's very soft to the touch, they don't cling to you when wet, and they dry very quickly.They are so comfortable and of such a good length, that I've been mainly wearing them as ordinary shorts.Many people have commented on how nice they look.I like them so much, that I immediately ordered another pair in a different pattern.Recommended.I hope you found this review helpful.

They fit great, I’m usually between a small and a medium so I went for medium. They were a little big but I had no problems with them staying up or being too baggy or short, perfect for anyone who likes normal length swimming trunks

For the price, this is absolutely a great bathing suit. It doesn't stick to your body like many fabrics, so you wont be suddenly in a skin tight suit when you leave the lake / pool. The colour of the product was exactly as the photo shows. The Draw string works nicely, and there is plenty of room in the under-mesh.My only complaint is that I wish there were just an inch or two shorter, length wise. I always buy 9" shorts and these simply aren't that, they are maybe 10" or 11". This can always be hemmed, but they fell just at my knee, but I would have liked it to have been above my knee. A small complaint, and I will keep using them.
