Pound for pound the best bang for the buck!
These headphones were provided to me free of charge by the company but the following review and comments are all my own.Ordering, shipping and packaging: The ordering process was relatively straight forward, shipping was provided via Prime, so one day. The headphones arrived in a very clean, compact cardboard package. The package is visually on par with a lot of the high end brands; hi-res pictures and brand logos compliment the clean layout. You are provided with the earphones, three pairs of additional ear tips (S,M,L), a lapel clip for clipping the earphones to your shirt/jacket etc, some booklets and a headphone jack cover made of plastic.Built quality: The headphones themselves are all metal and are very solid with a nice heft to them, I don't have any fear of these being crushed or broken by any day to day usage. The phones have "L" and "R" labels directly on the earpieces so you won't confuse which is which. The cable is bright red, covered with a standard nylon wrap and it's got a good feel to it. Would have been nice to see it wrapped in a braided cover but that's just my personal preference. There is an audio control piece connected to the right earpiece with three buttons for play/pause and volume up and down. There's also a microphone for phone calls. The buttons themselves have a nice tactile feel to them when pressed but they are very close together and the same height, so for someone like me with big fingers, finding and using the controls was not the most user friendly, probably one of the only big negatives about the headphones.Sound quality: The specifications on the box say the frequency range is 100Hz-20KHz and I'm sure that's a typo as these things have very good bass response. I would venture to say there was an extra zero added to the low end frequency specification which would have these headphones going from 10Hz-20KHz and that would make more sense. Interestingly there isn't a port on the earpieces (that I could find) that allows for slightly deeper bass, most higher end headphones usually have these but it didn't make a difference with these as the bass wasn't an issue. I played a huge variety of music, movies, Dolby Atmos demos and video games with these headphones for the past 10 days, including hi-resolution audio files (24/96 FLAC and DSD64). The overall sound quality is excellent and I'd have to say that they punch well above their price class even at the current price of $16.95. I have a pair of $100 earphones (in-ear) from a very popular brand and several pair of standard earphones that were provided with my various Samsung smart phones and these Marsno earphones are now my go-to because they sound better that the other headphones I have in my collection. The thing that stuck out other than the bass was the imaging; they have very good stereo imaging with a smooth and clear sound that is rounded off by the good bass response. The $100 headphones are very treble heavy (too much when an external amp is added to the mix) and the bass is less that what these Marsno headphones provide, probably due in part to the larger size driver (10mm vs 8mm). The Dolby Atmos demos I played were impressive as I heard the sounds coming from all around me through the headphones. As mentioned above, I have a portable external headphone amp/DAC that adds some extra oomph while on the go. The amp adds a nice push to these headphones without overpowering them and the overall sound is enhanced that much more. Sound isolation is on par with most other non-noise cancelling in-ear headphones, meaning not much at all but these headphones can go loud enough that it's a non issue in all but the most noisiest of places. These headphones are highly recommended even at the retail price of $59.99 but at the going rate they are probably one of the steals of the year for headphones. You will not be disappointed with these at all and I'd advise you to get a pair now.

Premium feel with an affordable price
I received my headphones two days ago and I really wanted to get a feel for them before writing a review, and this is what I found.Let's start with the packaging; when I opened the mailer that my headphones came in I was pleasantly surprised to find a shrink wrapped box. After removing the shrink wrap I slid the outer cover off of the packaging and found the headphones neatly seated in a soft foam insert at the top of the packaging. At the bottom of the package was a small box with the headphones name "M2" on it, and in the small box was a super soft carrying bag for the headphones. There were also 2 different sized tips to change out for the medium ones that came on the headphones, and a clip to attach to the wire and clip to your shirt. By the time I pulled the headphones out of the foam I was already impressed and thought that the packaging had a really premium feel to it, but then I saw the plastic cover over the 3.5mm connection and I knew it was premium. Most companies will not take the time to design such a nice package for a product under $20 and those companies take the same approach with their products. I could tell that the headphones were going to be good before using them just based on the packaging alone. After pulling out the headphones I also noticed the Velcro strap that was tethered to the wire for keeping the headphones neat when not in use. This was very unexpected but totally great, and I love the fact that the Velcro is tethered to the wire because otherwise it would never get any use. After using my M2's for a couple days I found the quality of the speakers to be absolutely incredible for something under $20, there was no distortion from too much bass and voices sounded incredibly clear. The microphone does an excellent job at blocking out the white noise around me and my voice was coming though perfectly clear when talking to others on the phone. I used them while playing Shadow of the Tomb Raider on Windows 10 with my Xbox One controller, and they worked right away once I plugged them into my controller. The sound was crisp and clear throughout the game, and although I did not use the microphone during the game it did show up in the sound settings as soon as I plugged the headphones into the controller. In conclusion; if you need a really good pair of headphones to listen to music, videos, or even to play video games, and you don't have the money to spend on all the really expensive ones that are out there, then you need to get a pair of these. Even a plain Xbox One headset licensed by Microsoft costs $10 on Amazon, so this is such a better deal. For $7 more you get to hear in stereo during game play instead of using just one speaker, and these are definitely more premium than an Xbox headset because those things break very easily. The only issue that I had with mine were the tips; I had to change the tips from the medium (default) ones to the small ones so they would fit better in my ears, but it seemed really hard to get the tips to go onto the headphones. I suppose this is so they make sure when they are on they don't come off, but it did take me like 30 seconds to get each one on. Other than that these are outstanding and I would recommend them to anyone.
