I brought this teapot for an afternoon tea session with my family.It’s a lovely little pot, but I’m not sure it can realistically hold 800ml. I get about 3/4 cups of tea in a 200ml cup, so probably closer to 600mlIt feels extremely light and fragile. The glass is quite thin, but it can still handle boiling water fine. Feels very delicate to hold. At first I was a bit scared to hold it, but once you add the tea you will be glad it’s so light, otherwise it would be heavy to handle!It keeps the tea hot for a long time,but it’s also very hot to handle, so be careful and definitely grab it with a handkerchiefThis might sound stupid but I love the spout! When you pour it, the tea flows out so elegantly and you can clearly see where you’re aiming! Good to pour into tall and short cups. It’s also quite narrow, so no tea shrapnel that escapes the strainer has gotten into a cup thus far!A lot of teapots Have spouts that are too straight, and it ends up water-falling and spillingHowever, because the spout starts so low on the pot, you can never fill the pot entirely as it will spill outThe strainer is really good, the water strains through the gaps quickly, but slowly enough that the tea can infuse.The only negative is as you pull the strainer out, any remaining moisture in the bottom of it will trickle out allllllll over the pot! I think if the strainer was slightly narrower than the opening, this problem would be solved.The strainer is big enough to host a flowering/blooming tea ball and you will be able to see the flowers fine :)It’s all glass, so the taste of the tea is always clean and unaffected by the pot. I find metal pots/strainers, especially after a few uses, start to give the tea a metallic taste.I’d really like to test putting ice in this and making iced tea, to see if it can withstand the temperature change, but it’s still very new and I don’t want to risk breaking it yet!This also comes with a red loop string that you can attach to the handle and the pots lid, to help keep the lid in place. It’s a nice touch but not that helpful as you can’t actually tighten the string, so it end up slipping around anyway?The opening is quite narrow So a bit difficult to clean without a thin pot brush.I would recommend this if somebody told me they wanted a glass teapot.

The teapot looks good and it is unusual ideal for two cups of tea.

This is a beautiful teapot. For me a little bit too light and delicate. When you tip the teapot to get the last dregs out the lid has fallen off. Not good. Overall it is a beautiful work of art and does the job.If the loose tea leaves are really small it goes through the sieve into the main body of the teapot into your cup.Its a good 2.5 mug teapot. Good for the money.

Bought as a present, loved by the recipient. Used every day

I teach Qigong and during the class we take time out to enjoy Chinese Tea. I dropped my previous tea pot so this was a replacement. Using organic large leaf tea this glass pot brings out the full flavour of the tea and is easy to clean.

Infuser in the middle is spacious to add your own bits and pieces for a unique brew. Need a pipe cleaner to clean the spout,still relatively easy to clean. Overall very happy with product.

Bought it as a Christmas present for someone so I cannot review it.Except to say it exactly what I expected when I bought it.

Apart from the teapot arriving broken,I would in all honesty, have found it far too small for my needs.I feel it is only really big enough for one person.
