I don’t often give feedback on Amazon but felt this gum shield deserved a mention.I originally bought one for my five year old to start karate but after a years use, teeth move, fall out etc so felt it was time to replace it. But before I got the chance she left it at the school which promptly binned it and I couldn’t remember the manufacturer of the GS so bought a different one, too big, hard to work with then bought another...Her karate school included an Xs small gym shield which was our last option but it too was terrible.No amount of patience made any difference to the gagging outcome and I just didn’t feel it was safe having needed gum shields for contact sports myself.So I bought another of these searching tirelessly through two years of orders but believe me for little mouths it was absolutely the best thing I’ve done.It moulds nicely with a slightly longer moulding timeframe, it’s easy to cut to length (I got her to buy on a square of kitchen paper I’d folded into quarter to bite on for a rough gauge) then round off the cut edging before redipping for the teeth indentation process.Highly recommend for five to seven probably older but she’s seven with a small bite.Hope this helps parents looking for durable chewable safe and reliable gum shields for their little ones.

Really good product, only issue was very hard to mould to teeth, my son had 3 attempts before it was a good enough fit, he has been doing Karate for 9 years so knows how to mould a Gum-shield so it wasn’t because he wasn’t doing it correctly, but now fit great 👍

After trying a few different ones this was the easiest to mould and the one my son found comfiest. Needed for contact rugby. Size is good and stays put with no gagging. Also love the funky designs.

I really like the look of the item, it was high quality but it triggered my gag reflex, so I couldn't wear it.

We've tried every gum guard for hockey. Every one! From the custom made Opro by the dentist to the cheaper mould yourself varieties from all UK and US manufacturers. Its not a lie to say in the 3 years of hockey I've spent nearly £200 chasing an elusive goal.....a guard that actually stays in my childs (small) mouth without falling out the second she opens it, disintegrating after a few chewing sessions or giving her blisters as they are too big. But this.....This is the holy grail of small mouth gum guards for less than a tenner. I've just ordered another. THEY STAY IN, THEY STAY PUT. THEY ARE COMFORTABLE. And immensely easy to mould on the first try (not so every Opro or Shock Doctor).

I wanted a decent quality and practical mouthguard that didn’t break the bank for my kids and I for martial arts training. This ticked all those boxes. Had to trim them all down for comfort, but not unusual and this was not a problem; better too much than too little :). Really impressed with the gel inner that moulds really well with the heat.Step by step guide was clear and easy to follow, and we repeated several times to improve the fit, especially with the kids who were a bit unsure at first and wouldn’t bite down hard enough. Good value. One of the more economical mouth guards on here. I got it for bjj and muay thai. There are others I recommend over this but then your paying more. I recommend.

This mouthguard is way too thick, especially when comparing to other ones on the market. It doesn't stay on my teeth, droops down to block my breathing, and I can't close my mouth over it. Given the cost, this shouldn't be your first stop for a mouthguard.UPDATE - Seller contacted me and sent me a youth size to try and it fits great. I wear a medium size everything, so if that's you, you may consider ordering the youth size first. It sticks to my teeth better than any of my other guards. It's still thicker than my other ones, so it's good for the most serious contact sports and gives great confidence. Excellent customer service leaving no risk when ordering. A good guard to buy first among other choices.
