Very good and very focused, and needed by every library governing board
One can argue a bit about the "Complete" word in the title, but it still seems the best around on this topic. Sounds like a tiny audience, but there are 100,000 libraries in just the US. Even the largest, oldest and most experience Library Boards will pick up some tips on improving their introduction of new Trustees to the mission they will be facing. Of course the huge number of small Libraries that do nothing beyond a handshake to welcome new Trustees will benefit greatly.

Really a must.
This is an excellent book. We are writing new policies for our library and it has been most helpful. It covers so many things. Have learned a lot & have a lot to learn. Am very pleased I purchased it. A wealth of information. Easy to read and understand.

Best book for trustees.
Very comprehensive guide for both the new and novice trustee. After many year involved in libraries I still learned a lot. It made me think about changes and gave me ideas to use within our library. It is a book that should be on the reference shelf of every library.
