Was a gift for someone,who assures me it's well worthwhile having.

Apart from learning a bit of French when I was at school (about 35 years ago) I have never learnt a language and I was surprised by how easy this book and CDs were to use. The best thing is that once you have been through the book with the cds you can keep listening to the cds and improve your French. I will be continuing to learn French.

I find this course easy to follow and it has good reminders so as not 'to slack off'

Very easy to use as long as you have a CD player. You work in conjunction with the book. You can learn at your pace.

Quite a good book, explains very well. The CDs are ok, but for beginners l would have liked when they spoke french they would have done it slowly so l could pick it up more easily.

I have the Spanish and Italian versions too which i use to teach adult beginners. Simple, straightforward and practical.
