This is very strong and sturdy, and the basket has plenty of room for an iron and other miscellaneous items. It was not easy to install. The two screws on top (for the basket) were very difficult to reach with my drill. I have an extender attachment for my drill bit and even that wasn’t quite long enough. I wouldn’t have been able to hang it without the extender. Also, the screw head is too big to put in the wall first and then hang the basket on it. I made that mistake and had to take all of the screws out of the wall. The screw must be put into the wall while holding the basket at the same time.

It was difficult to photograph this once I put it up because it’s in a tight corner of our laundry room, but this was a smart invention that I came across in an organization article. I have been trying to “store upwards” instead of leaving items lying around and taking up more area space. My ironing board and iron fit well, and there is extra space where I’m keeping fabric spray. I would recommend this for anyone looking to “Marie Kondo” their house during the quarantine.

good quality, easy to install

I have a Rowena iron. This holder (like so many others) does not fit the Rowena brand irons if you use the basket as described by the seller. It will fit if you insert the iron sideways but you lose the extra storage space. Inserting sideways makes is more difficult to retrieve but, oh well, at least if found something that holds the iron in some fashion. Also, the description reads that that the iron hanger detaches. It detaches because it is not connected in any way to the basket. It simply mounts under the basket or anywhere else you might want to place it. I cannot use the iron hanger due to two reasons: 1) the mounting holes push the hanger out from the wall and create an unstable situation, and 2) I am concerned about the amount of weight the two small mounting screws (with anchors) must hold. My walls are the thinner drywall boards used in manufactured housing and, therefore, are not as strong as drywall boards used in site-built houses.

My husband and I loved when this came in. We didn't need the ironing board hook, but the basket storage was exactly what I wanted, so we planned on sawing it apart. What joy to discover it was detachable!! We now use the basket on the wall in my laundry room for my ironing accessories and the bottom hook assortment in another area for keys and bags. Very versatile!
