As a photographer I use a lot of batteries. These hold plenty of power, operate well even in cold weather, save a ton of money compared to disposable batteries, and most importantly, don't go into the landfill when they're depleted. Instead they go back into the charger. Never counted how many charges I get per battery, but it's likely in the hundreds. And they don't even move the needle on my electric bill. Truly a "no-brainer."

Perfect, some have a much higher mah then labeled

I use these in trail cameras that are out in the woods in the winter. They last longer than the standard Eneloops which themselves are pretty great. I started using Eneloops years ago bc they were the only rechargeable that would give good life in my early digital still cameras. There are other knockoffs now, but I have had zero failures on my eneloops and they seem to hold charge ability through the years remarkably well. These things are expensive when you're buying a bunch, but they just last. A note--I have some in a Moultrie Edge cellular trail cam (the particular camera can take 8 OR 16 AA's). I loaded it with 8 freshly charged batteries and was shocked to see it read only 15% charge. I put it out anyway, and 8 weeks later it reads 6%, when I would have expected it to be stone dead within a week. My GardePro cameras show a full charge when loaded with Eneloop Pro's so it may be an anomaly of the Moultrie.

Many rechargeable batteries are sold with highly questionable power ratings. These Eneloop Pro batteries, however, meet the spec extremely well. On the detailed packaging they claim 2550mAh typical, with 2450mAh minimum. I have a Maha MH-C9000 charger which provides a high performance set of battery tests, including a 40 hour charge/discharge/charge recycle test that accurately shows the true battery performance on a 0.2C discharge test. So far I've put 12 batteries through this test getting the following power ratings from each: 2560, 2572, 2563, 2556, 2589, 2580, 2541, 2550, 2582, 2564, 2549, 2581. Frankly the consistency of this range is extremely impressive which is important when you're using more than one battery in a device you want them to be close to each other in performance, and the fact that they average above 2550mAh is also extremely impressive. For use in a camera flash gun (my primary purpose) the most important aspect is the battery power when shorted, so by testing the current delivery of the battery simply by shorting it out with my multimeter gives a very accurate indicator of how the batteries will perform in my flash gun. My initial tests showed a range of 8.65 to 8.8A. As a final test, my Nikon SB800 flash guns specs a recycle time of 4 seconds when used with NiMH batteries, pleasantly these batteries yielded a time of 15.8 seconds for 5 full cycles, wow 3.16 seconds each cycle for a 100% full power flash cycle on this big flash gun, that's impressive!

I use these in my Nikon SB900 flash, they're super powerful, refresh fast, and last for hundreds of shots. Highly recommended. They do take a long time to charge, so buy multiple sets. So far so good, I love them. Plus, they're not going to corrode your electronics if you forget and leave them...

I have had great luck with Eneloop batteries and still have some functional after 15 years. Best I have ever used.

Great product for use in cameras and video lights

Quedé impresionado por la duración de la pila y su rendimiento. Tengo las versiones blancas de Eneloop y siempre han sido mi principal fuente de energía. Pero esta versión pro me ha sorprendido para bien. La utilicé en una sesión de fotografía en flashes con potencia 1/4 y un 1/8 y han durado prácticamente toda la sesión. Excelente compra.

The performance of these batteries is significantly better than anything else I have tried. They last longer, recharge faster and are much more powerful. I can really tell the difference when I use them with LED lights as the lights shine brighter with these. Worth the extra $$.
