It's great but it keeps falling down
The problem is it doesn't stick well to the windshield, tried the hot water but still have the same issue unfortunately it started to fall after the return window was closed

Holding
Like most suction cup, this has a problem holding the dash cam... from my use so far, it holds longer then other suction cups I have used in the past.

Just doesn't hold
I bought it to attach my V1P Pro to my windshield without using the standard mounting kit with the double sided tape (that NEVER held), but even after cleaning the spot on the windshield, it never held for very long. SO it went in the box of useless stuff, and I used the standard mounting kit but I got the clear sheet from Rexing that clings onto the windshield, and you mount the standard holder on it. That worked PERFECTLY!

NOT for the mai70 pro Camera
I bought this item for the 70mai Pro Dash Cam. It does not readily fit the 70mai. I had to grind off the tabs to customize it for the 70mai. It's a great suction cup holder, just know it'll have to be adjusted to it.

2024/06/18 - UPDATE - melted again...am I a glutten for punishment. bought a second mount and it melted just like the other one. The part that the camera fits onto on the mount melts and warps in the sun/heat of AZ desert after a year or two...

Works but went with provided mount.
I decided to use the 3 tape mount due to slimmer profile and bringing the camera closer to the windshield.

Flaky and undependable
Constantly powered on and off. Not dependable. Started getting flaky soon after return window closed.
