The "secret" side project of singer/songwriter Darren Hayes (Savage Garden) and producer Robert Conley (KISS, Destiny's Child, Ricky Martin) is a strange "Prince meets Disco" collection of superb pop-electronica that has been a cult favorite with fans since 2009.

Great Dance Music!
A cd with great dance music. Darren Hayes from Savage Garden and his friend/producer Robert Conley got together for fun and created music. At first, Darren gave it to his fans for free but now it's on a awesome cd for anyone to hear with an extra song and cool booklet. Great for any Darren fan or someone who loves dance music.

I LOVE DARREN HAYES AND THIS CD IS NO EXCEPTION!!!
Love, love, love Darren Hayes!!! This was a departure from what I am accustomed to hearing from my favorite singer, but I like every song on the CD. I have listened to it enough to make everyone else sick of it. LOL!!!

Simply satisfying
CD cover was cracked on arrival but considering the long shipping journey I'd say that's acceptable. Most importantly, this is one of the very few copies of the mysterious album! I'm quite lucky to have one.

We are all a litte Smug ;)
Not your typical Darren Hayes sound but a fun side project. I enjoy this album. If you liked The Tension and The Spark you will like this album as well.

Seriously? It's like a pseudo legitimate bootleg, but of a serious B-side album.
The whole experience for me is considerably disheartening. For starters, don't buy the Amazon CD-R version; it's a cheap joke. I just have this image of some chap in his garage pressing these - at least when you get an Indie CD like that, it has the life that it's supposed to to support it. Either wait for the CD to drop in price or get the MP3 version but don't buy the CD-R version. It's painful. I'm seriously tempted to dump it and wait for a used Import to show up.Darren Hayes does have some very interesting tracks and if you are a diehard DH fan, you will hang in there and they will grow on you. If you are just getting into Darren or are used to Savage Garden, do not pass go, go straight to "This Delicate Thing We've Made" and then come back to this after about 6 months. Don't start here, you will miss everything he's grown to do well and it will throw you. This is the first every negative review I've ever done but it's just seriously disappointing - I can see why Darren Hayes gave this album away at one point; it doesn't remotely give him the platform to show what he does best.

Not one of his best albums. But I likes it

Not quite
Love DH but as a previous review said - this is off the beaten track for his regular fans. The review said it will grow on you. We shall see. Techno and lyrically not up to his usual standard.
