Backnobber II Massager Cane, Charcoal Black

I saw it on a non-sponsored rotator cuff surgery podcast by someone that was recovering. My first thought was, what can that do but willing to try anything. When used correctly, and there is a correct way per instructions, it releases muscle tension in a way and places you just can’t get too. Avoid the knockoffs with more bumps and gadgets on them. Simplicity is what makes this work and get to all those places.

Bottom line: This cleverly designed device WORKS! I see a licensed massage therapist on a regular basis, but my stress at work & from the computer continues to knot my muscles up at a faster rate than my massage therapist can get rid of them. The only way my sinuses drain is when my knots get worked on, so I am only "clear" after a massage & for about a week later. Now, I finally can have clear sinuses every day! I have been using this daily since it arrived in the mail last week and my sinuses are clear! If you are on the border of whether or not to purchase this, cause if you are like me, you think the price of $30 for a molded piece of plastic is too high, which it is, but with all the positive reviews (and I am so glad people took the time to review since that is what helped me make the decision to buy it)I figured sinus relief for a one time shot of $30 has got to be worth it. This device is more incredible than I ever imagained. I am in my mid forties and have been suffering from back knots for about 5 years..I wish I had known about this a long time ago. It allows you to be in complete control, you use whatever pressure you want and work out any area you want. One end has a larger opening than the other, so it allows you to work further down your back. The shorter S end allows you to easily work your upper back. This device is so easy to use either sitting or laying down. I am very glad I purchased this and have shown others...now they want to buy one too!

Was asked to purchase one of these after a biofeedback session to alleviate migraine pain originating from the my back. I have included a few photos but not all from the book. It comes with a 15 page manual showing you how to use it and seems to be made of glass reinforced plastic which is ridiculously strong. There are no markings on the plastic identifying the specific type used. It can be separated at the middle via the two clips for travel storage. Overall satisfied with the product and opted for this one over the Chinese clones because it included the manual and the ability to break it down in size. $40 seems a bit high for a piece of plastic but it's made in the USA. It could have probably been $29.99 if made in Chinaland. You can get a decent amount of pressure on the muscles with only light pulling pressure on the tool.

A coworker told me about this and I immediately came here and bought it. I often have a sore neck, back and shoulders and this really helps. I use it almost every single day and I even travel with it and it has held up very well. I can’t believe it took this long to figure out something like this even existed! I can work out the knots in my back on my own with little effort! This is such a simple tool yet so effective! It was worth every penny!

This is my second Backnobber II, so I'm sold on it. My first one cracked after I apparently put too much pressure on it one too many times, so be aware that you need to not over work it. It really helps you dig into those nasty knots and loosen up the trigger points. Also, it collapses into two pieces, so it fits nicely into your suitcase or backpack so you can take it both on the road and to work. If you have a back filled with knots on a regular basis, I recommend you check this out.

The first day I got this, I brought it to work to show it off to my co-workers because I was so excited about how awesome it is. I work in a restaurant, so for a profession where we're on our feet 8-10 hours a day, there is literally not a single one of us that doesn't have some level of back, shoulder, or neck pain. It's cool that it clicks together and comes apart easily so you can actually just throw it in your bag or store it easily. It's made of some hard plastic material, but it doesn't feel flimsy. If you push REALLY hard, it will bend slightly, but I doubt I could break it, even with my tough she-girl strength. It takes some getting used to for figuring out the best angles and ways to put pressure on all the key points, but once you figure it out, it's just awesome to sit at your desk or on the couch after a long day and just knead out all your own knots. Don't get me wrong -- nothing in the world beats a real massage, but I can't afford one every night, and this is what gets me through until I've saved up enough for a proper one from a real human. Advice: spend the money. Treat yo'self! You're worth it. Bonus: your significant other will be grateful for not hearing you complain all the time about how sore your back is, and you won't have to listen to him lecture you on how your adorable ballet flats aren't as good for your back as a nice, sturdy, hideous pair of insoles..

I have had back problems for over 40 years. I have had 2 back surgeries in the past 3 years. While going through my most recent round of physical therapy I discovered the Backnobber. I tried it at the facility and immediately went home to find and buy one. In the past I would have to roll on a tennis ball on the floor to relieve the pressure points that would occur(something I learned years ago from one of my chiropractors). It wasn't the easiest thing to do, especially right after surgery. Getting down was not to bad, but getting back up was a bit more difficult. Although that method worked OK, the Backnobber is a superior piece of equipment. Very simple in design but most effective. It is sturdily built yet you can take it apart for easy of packing when you travel. I never go on a trip without it. Because of it's design you can pin point the problem areas and apply as much or little pressure as it takes to relieve the muscle knots. With the ball on the floor routine, it was not always as effective as you would want. You would always be moving around (using your muscles) that you wanted to relax to get the ball to the point you wanted it. With Backnobber you can comfortably sit and apply pin point pressure, without contorting yourself which is kind of counter productive.

I have suffered from Myofascial pain syndrome for the past year & a half. I have tried everything under the sun to get rid of this pain. Got recommended this by someone over the cheaper alternatives as he tried and tried many different brands and styles and found this to be the best one for the grips he created to resolve trigger points in the neck and back. By the way the guy that recommended this to me he has a free massage/de-stressing program and has helped hundreds of people resolves different varying "head" illnesses.... dizzines stuff, headache stuff, hearing/ear stuff etc, the program is curalistic.org (its totally free) - and no he doesn't sell these massage tools he just found this one to be the best for his special grips. ANyway back to the backnobbber, I let my brother use it and he said it's the only thing he's ever tried that gets one particular spot on his neck/trap muscle that nothing and no one can ever hit properly, so I bought him one (well I gave him mine and bought myself another one).

Pricey but works extremely well for self-shiatsu and pressure point therapy. Comes with instructional manual that is very helpful. Bonus is that it comes apart, in half and is easy storage and easy to travel with. If you have tense shoulders and muscles and no one to give you a massage or cannot afford a massage, this product will help you. It's great for those sore spots under the shoulder blade that get sore from sitting at a desk. I would absolutely buy it again. I have been looking for it for years and was excited to finally find it!

I love this Backnobber ll as it is lighter and I can also massage the hard to reach areas of my back. The additional feature is it can be very handy when traveling because I can dismantle it into 2pieces. This is my second back massager which is better than my first Bodybackbuddy.
