is there any vignetting with this hood

There is absolutely no vignetting with the hood, while using it on the lens it was made for (the Sony 16-50/Selp 1650).

I see in your image that also accepts 40.5 and 52mm filter, so.. ¿what mm filter is preferible 40.5 or 52? my cam is Alpha 5000 40.5mm 16-50

IMHO I would use the 52mm filter for ease of changing from a skylight to a polarized, etc. In addition the hood will cause the lens to vignette at 16mm which would only be enhanced by using a 40.5mm filter between the lens and the hood.

Hi, I already have a polarized lens, will it fit this hood? btws i have the sony aplha a5000 with the kit lens that it comes with.

If it is a 52mm threaded filter it will fit step up ring or the step up ring will thread onto a 40.5mm threaded filter. Be advised that with a 52mm filter attached between the step up ring and the hood there will be vignetting.

Can the hood easily come on and off (for use between shots)? (granted - the adapter ring would need to stay on.)

The entire hood is two pieces. There is the flat round piece that screws into the lens and the other piece is the hood that sticks out. The hood is applied by snapping it onto the flat round piece. When you're done with it, snap it off, turn it around and snap it back on backwards. pretty convenient.
