Get what you pay for?
Not with this oven; not even close. I might see things differently if Electrolux were a value-priced bargain brand, but it's supposed to be something better. It's not, and here's why (so far):- Rubber feet on the cast iron range grates protect the stainless top from scratches, at least they would had they not disintegrated within a couple of months.- Black paint began coming off burner caps with a few weeks.- Range burners don't light reliably despite the burner heads being seated properly, absolutely free of moisture and debris, and in a draft-free environment.- Oven temperature drops at least 50 degrees, sometimes as much as 75 degrees, below the set point before the burner comes on again. Successful baking with that kind of variation is a game of chance.- The temp probe function has now started to malfunction even though it has never been used. The probe icon comes on intermittently all by itself, then switches itself off. Often it keeps cycling on and off every few seconds for several minutes, even when nothing else is on and "cancel" has been repeatedly pressed. And if the broiler is on when the probe function acts up, it shuts down.Note that the oven is barely two years old (purchased in 2016) and gets relatively light use in a household of two. But if the probe fix costs more than a few bucks, this oven is going to the recycler.
