Fantasy Versus Fast Food
Following in the vein of Monster Musume, 12 Beast and My Girlfriend Is A T Dec, comes Plus Sized Elf. Compared to the aforementioned series the story and characters are more on the simplistic side but they definitely have potential. The art style is well drawn and yes like many series that deal with fantasy races coming to our world there is plenty of fan service. Though currently the fan service is tamer then Monster Musume. The story is about fantasy races such as Elfs coming to our modern world and facing their greatest foe, delicious human foods. Our protagonist is a massage therapist and apparent exercise guru named Naoe. He ends up as a sort of life for an Elf named Elfuda who has an addiction to French fries. If your looking for something on the goofy side Plus Size Elf with some fan service, might be up your alley. Or if you're a fan of Monster Musume, I mean this feels like a spin off in that world. Though I think anyone would be jealous of the fact at how little weight Elfuda is struggling with. XD

A good start
I bought this on a whim, I thought "why not?". Reading through this I quickly realized that it really was meant for it's age rating. (Not just because of general ecchi stuff that would) And that's not bad, people who are old enough for it will enjoy this.Truly this is a first volume so it will be a bit rough for anyone. True each chapter focuses on one character in particular and the art and writing style are fresh but could just some fine tuning. That will most likely improve in later volumes. The interaction between the characters has charisma and feels alive. It's pretty cool that there are actual workouts in this, and as for it being a bit "preachy" I'll have to disagree it's not that bad and does not distract from what's going on. If the author has more workout related stuff I can see some people liking this. Not like another series exactly, but still it shines in it's own way in this series and is well worth the read.

Not for young audiences but enjoyable and funny
First off let me just say this is NOT for people under 18 or for the faint of heart because of certain scenes being really racy. However, if you are over the age of 18 or not faint of heart this is really funny. This does make fun of plus sized people but not too offensively in my opinion as a plus sized lady myself. I appreciated the exercise aspects plus the various mythical creatures that were presented were really cool and fun. What this reminded me the most was of the anime Ah my goddess but with a more variety of mythical characters/creatures, more fanservice, and tons of food which I also recommend reading on a full stomach so you're not hungry. The art style was also unique and beautiful as well. Because of these points I have to give this manga a 3.5 to 4 out of 5 stars. This is a definitely a fun time and will pick up the next volume eventually though not dying for it.

Good to pass the time
A good read while enjoying a morning coffee, avoid reading in public found that out the hard way there is some mild nudity. Overall it is a fun story, but nothing special to write home about.

Hilarious and appealing!
At the beginning, I thought it would be your run of the mill ecchi comic. After reading a few chapters, I found a series of interesting trends displayed on every chapter. The bread-and-butter-no pun intended-is the asorted "big ladies" promoted in the description. I mean the quote marks, they aren't as flamboyant as the tittle makes you believe. However, they've got good enough measures for THIC-lovers. The comic features lots of health tips and information about exercises which can be easily practiced at home. Which mixes up well with the humor without being too ofensive about the topic.Would totally purchase the second volume!

A monster girl manga with a pleasant surprise
While on the cover, it might look like another monster girl manga, but a closer look reveals a nice little twist on that fandom. It's about monster girls dieting and maintaining a healthy lifestyle, with monster girls that are the curviest you'll probably ever see in manga. The lead monster girl is a chubby elf who has an unhealthy obsession with junk food; fries mostly. With the aid of a physical therapist, she meets all kind of other monster girls trying to get healthier. The art in this is very well-drawn, with fanservice abound. Keep away from littler kids, though.

Surprisingly good
This is a hilarious comic that I'm really enjoying. It is what it is: Heavy fanservice, goofy humor, and a surprisingly not clueless protagonist for once, which is rare for 'harem' manga. And it's nice to see something other than stick-figure female leads for a change. I'm through the first four volumes and looking forward to more. Wasn't expecting much more than silly jokes but I'm surprised how much I like it.

Plus Sized Sweeties
This manga is very good for people who enjoy comedy manga. The art style is amazing and the character designs are great. If you are looking for a in-depth story, you will not find it here. I think of this like a Sgt. Frog type of manga. It follows a heath clinic guy giving various health advice to a bunch of monster girl type sweeties. A fun read yes, and visually appealing. Keep in mind this can get perverted at times but it's not out of control. Dark Elf is best girl!

Plus Sized Elf is Plus Sized Fun
Plus Sized Elf is an amusing bit of manga that has enough cute appeal to overlook some pretty silly writing. If you like Miss Koyobayashi’s Dragonmaid, it’s similar in tone but isn’t as engaging from a story point of view. I’ll still be buying more volumes of it...
