This movie was funnier than I thought it would be. Love Ashley Tisdale but I wished it was Cindy instead of her. It would've been funnier and made sense in the franchise but other than that I loved it.

Let me tell you something, and it's going to be very controversial, I love the Scary Movie movies. Hell I even like most of the Seltzerberg (forgive me if I spelled it wrong) movies, except for Disaster Movie. The first three Scary Movies were hilarious while the fourth one was meh. To be honest I wasn't really that interested in the fifth movie when it came out, especially since Anna Faris and the other previous cast members aside from Charlie Sheen weren't going to be in it. But when this movie practically disappeared, I had the sudden urge to see it. So does it good up to the previous movies? Well...not really, hell its not even better than the fourth one. It's kind of hard to properly review this movie since these films barely have a cohesive story are filled to the brim with random pop culture references. So really all I can say is that it's ok. Basically it parodies various movies that were popular at the time it was made, more specifically Paranormal Activity, Mama, Black Swan, and Rise of the Planet of the Apes. The gags are hit and miss, but I'll admit that when they hit they hit very well. However some of them are lame and those ones tend to overstay their welcome. Ashley Tisdale of the High School Musical movies was pretty entertaining in this, but I still miss Anna. Like I said it's kind of hard to review a movie like this, so overall it was ok. Since this underperformed and spoof movies aren't as popular as they once were, I'm afraid this might be the end of the Scary Movie series. Maybe there might be another one someday in the future, but if it really is the end, I just wished that it ended on a higher note.

Great film to parody horror movies. We love all of the series.

My husband and I loved this movie series. They are always a go to when we don’t know what to watch. They are always so funny and we love seeing all the characters that are in them.

If you have a great sense of humor this movie is hilarious. Must watch
