Used this to power a TrueNAS with many spinning drives - no problems
When I started adding more drives to my TrueNAS system, it started to get flaky and would crash. I added this PSU and removed some SATA power splitters and all the problems went away. Completely plug and play, and I have been very happy with the performance. The total power usage went down as well because this is more efficient than my old PSU. Idle had been at 122W and now it is sitting around 111W. Hard to believe 11W were being lost in the old PSU! That is around 10% improved losses.

1st one no good, 2nd one works great.
Ordered one, hooked it up to my computer. Blew the circuit breaker on my house. Retuned it and order the exact same thing. 2nd one worked like a charm and I have been running it for a couple of months now with no issues. No issues with the return.

Does the job
The motherboard connector could be a little longer. I initially gave a very low review because it didnt reach but i was able to somehow get it connected via the most optimal routing in human history. Technically it reaches but be careful. I do have corsair 5000t case with a rog strix x670e-a or something like that so idk maybe thats a long run compared to average.
