These brass propane fuel canister caps work great on smaller refillable propane canisters for help keeping propane smell leaking out of tanks they are good quality at good value

I bought these to replace the cheap plastic caps that come with Fuel Keg 1 pound refillable propane bottles. Pros - feel like heavy duty brass - good rubber seal - nice grips around the cap - have held seal on the Fuel Kegs, no leaks Cons - none

Fits well on my 1 pound Coleman propane canister to prevent leaks after opening.

These caps are exceptional! They're precision made and completely protect the threads on 1 lb propane bottles. I'd like to point out that any device that accepts these bottles will also accept a hose with the same connection. For me it's Mr. Heater Big Buddy portable heaters. They can go through 1lb bottles quickly so I connect them to 20lb tanks using Mr. Heater branded hoses. The heater end of that hose is identical to the 1lb bottles so these caps are perfect to protect the threads. The optional gas filters also have the same thread. Hoses can get banged around during transport so if you choose to upgrade to a larger source requiring a hose and/or filter these caps will come in very handy.

These are perfect for the refillable propane cylinders that come with cheap plastic caps. These solid brass caps feature a gasket that seals the cylinder tight, preventing leakage. They are not very expensive compared to the potential loss of propane through leakage, or damage to the cylinder threads. They are easy to use... just screw onto your cylinder when not in use.

These work better than expected, solid Brass and good rubber seals, you don't need to tighten more than snug to seal. I used these after refilling 3 1 lb tanks, saved about $30.00 doing this as new 1 lb tanks are now selling for #10.99 each at CTC. And a 30 lb tank costs me $18.00 to fill at Costco...

Shipped in pristine condition with all components intact. Fits tanks perfectly. A must if on the go to protect thread, debris contamination and seal against possible leakage.

Found the caps pricey -- but of good quality so a fair trade off.
