Taffy TownCandies, Peppermint, 5.0 Pound

Ordered as a gift. Have not heard any comment about them, good or bad.

I confess to being addicted to "salt water taffy," which I have enjoyed since childhood. While I do not claim to being an expert about food or candy, I do know what I like and I surely do like this taffy! No, make that "LOVE this taffy!" in part because I am particularly addicted to peppermint; to my taste buds, this flavoring tastes great. And the "price is right," so yes I do plan to order another package, once I use up this one, which will take a while! So this is intentionally an endorsement of this product and this producer! And of course the mailing was exemplary, as I do expect by (and through!) "Amazon"! One thing to add - some few commented about what they received being perhaps old because it was "hard" ... well, I have a possible solution for I just learned something that others might already know, that warming makes any less than chewy morsel "soft" again. I store this candy in a transparent glass jar in a spot that in this season of the year gets several hours of sun, so just now I found something that requires a little time in my mouth to get "soft and chewy" now comes out of the jar in that state! So, enjoy with me!!

Taffy is stale and not red and white but pink and white. Flavor is ok. I needed it for stocking stuffers for Xmas bazaar.

I couldn’t find these candies any where and I was a very unhappy camper. I went to Amazon and found them. Just in time for Christmas. My family loves them. They are good year around and I will be reordering very soon.

This taffy tasted awesome. It was fresh and flavorful. It was the best price I have seen in a while. You have to buy 5 lbs to get that price but I was not disappointed at all. My whole family enjoyed it.

First off, I bought the Taffy Town Gourmet Peppermint Salt Water Taffy, and the seller was MyQuickMart.The taffy is fairly tasty, some are weaker and others are stronger. Some of the pieces are hard and need to be sucked on for awhile, and other pieces are soft and melt almost instantly. I'm not certain if the quality control is the brand's fault or seller's, but there's definitely little consistency throughout the bag.I'm sure the hard pieces will soften up if I leave them in the sun for a bit, but I'm a bit disappointed.

We LOVE this tasty Taffy! Have purchased a couple times before and will continue to be loyal customers. We eat about half then we put a little in candy jars and it makes great gifts! Thank y’all so much 🥰

This is normally my FAVORITE candy, but this order that I recieved was HORRIBLE! It has a really weird taste and also it taste stale. Im almost scared to eat anymore of it.. Because it can't be returned I'm out $30. I've ordered from this seller before and it was fine. Now I guess I have to throw it out, but something is definitely wrong with this candy.
